I love the way this old house is *done-up* for Halloween. But! This has obviously been done by a *Decoration Service.* Not by the home owners themselves. So to me, the homes I showed previously, are cuter, because they were done by the home owners themselves. :-)

But there's another biggggggggg, new house (A "MacMansion" I call it) across from this pictured house, which is Seasonally Decorated by a *Service,* but is just over-the-top. I have no use for their ostentation and will not show it, on my blog, anymore. Ughhhhhh...

Today ~ It's almost like November weather, around these parts. Grayness... Breaks of sun... Shower... Light clouds moving fast... Full grayness settling in.... -sigh-

And no doubt about it ~~ This *Leaf Peeking Season* has been sort of a bust. Not as full and beautiful and colorful, as is usual. ~~ But the golden/pink leaves are still around. And as a Dear Reader said, they seem to give off an inner glow, of their own. Guess we have to be content with them.

Lots of errands need doing. But lots of house cleaning needs doing too. Bleahhh... We just never seem to get the house cleaning done regularly, the way I'd like. We could! But... Somehow, we just find other things to do. ~~ Our fault. MUST figure this out, because it is bugggggggggggging me. -moan- And when something is buggggging me, it sucks the fun out of everything. -pout-

I don't understand why anyone would have a service come in to decorate for hallowe'en. There something very unbalanced there- where are their priorities?
I know what you mean about house work! That's what gets me down. After a week of working long hours, I really don't like spending my weekends cleaning, dusting, doing laundry.
I love taking care of the decorations myself. Where's the fun in letting someone else do it for you.

I don't do a lot of decorating outside...I have a fall wreath out there right now. Come Halloween, I'll put out my olden witch, sitting in the porch swing. Maybe a ghost hanging. Nothing over the top, at all.
It's my housework that bugs the h** out of me. I used to could clean my whole house in less than a day...now, it seems there's so many other things I would rather do...:(
and, my back hurts if I stand too long and...
my foot hurts....
and my skin bruises too easily...
and my neck hurts...
and ...and...and...see, I can find MANY reasons not to clean house too often. :)) Actually, none of those hurt...just playin'.
I AM cleaning house right now...so much dirt came in the other day...gotta get it out. And, that calls for moving things around...oh, dear...

Housekeeping issues became so much easier for me when I subscribed to FlyLady. I adore her and her methods. That's all I'll say about that. And it wasn't the "couldn't have anyone over" thing that she mentions; it was the "I must clean all the time...all day long." Now I have time for many other things. This is not to say that my home is perfectly clean...it's "clean enough."
A decorating service? Wow. Never heard of one, but I'd love to have that job.
Yes, we must learn to be content. This autumn was a bust as far as color and intensity. Still when we see the sun shining through those leaves...magic! Sun? What sun? Oh yeah, that's okay because if it isn't shining on me, it's not shining on that dude in Scarborough either. ;>
I can't imagine hiring someone to decorate my house. If i didn't have time i would just skip doing it altogether.
I can't really think of anything about my day that really bugs me at the moment.
Sheesh, all that money spent on stuff that will get thrown out - not for me. My dirty house bothers me. Well, what really bothers me is that I'm lazy. That is the whole truth.

Really!! A house decorating service!!!??? I would rather not have my house decorated if I had to have someone else do it for me - and then charge me for it - yikes!!
What really bothers me is that I can't do the things that I used to be able to do, as fast as I used to be able to do them! I also get sidetracked pretty easily - like now - I should be vacuuming the floor, that's what I came in here to do!! Oh my, see how easily it happens?!
I also agree with Vee - I really love Flylady, when I do it. She really has wonderful ideas, especially during the holidays.
I also talk on the phone too much.... :0) That bothers me too!

Since my husband retired two years ago, all my routines went out the door. Now I just take everyday as it comes and clean when I can. I would much rather be with grandchildren, quilt, read, visit blogs. So much to do and not enough time.
I've never heard of a decorating service for Halloween...hmmmm some people just have too much money to spend! lol I always enjoy doing my own decorating for all seasons and holidays:-)
I really don't mind housecleaning, I actually enjoy it IF I'm in the mood to do it! lol The vacuuming part, though, I don't enjoy at all but it has to get done. Sigh. So many other things to do that are much more fun!!! lol xoxo
