♥This and that, and something else... :-)

 ♥♥~♥♥
(Leaves, out our bedroom window)

The Italian Exchange Student is part of our extended family now.  She came to our son/daughter-in-law's home on Fri. evening.  We are excited!

(Leaves, through window/screen, in the rain)

Some very interesting reading I have been doing.  "The Winter Ghosts" ...  "Graveminder"...  "The Burning Glass"...  "Daughter of Smoke And Bone"...  "The Night Circus."
♥~♥

If you love possible reading suggestions, as much as I do...  I suggest you look into one or more of them.  Oh and if you enjoy them, please tell me!  I love, love, love to hear from someone else, who has read a book.
♥~♥

Perhaps that's another reason I love reading Book Blogs.   :-)   Not only for the suggestions for future reading...  But because it's kind of like belonging to a "book club" and discussing a book, with others.
♥~♥

But no, don't ask me if I belong to a book club in Real Life....  I only want to read, exactly what I want to read.  I'd never *suffer through* reading books, chosen by consensus.  I just know me.  :-)

(Screen lifted, view down and to right, out bedroom window)

Much rain/wind on Saturday.  Many leaves down.  I'm getting sad, about this years Leaf Color Changing Season.    But I know, it's not something to spend much sadness on.

(And I've probably shown this photo before, but I'll show it again.  'Cause it's bright and pretty!!!)

Rainy day yesterday, and perfect weather for me to get the urge to change my "blog look."  So far, I've not gotten *bitten by that bug.*  But should have known, it was only a matter of time.....  Till I got the urge to  fiddle-around-with my Blog Look.

Wellllllllllllllll,  it didn't go very far.  I'm still using an old Blogger template or something...  And with this, can not use a lot of the New Blogger Stuff.  But!  I'm not ready to jump to New Blogger here!!!!!!!!!!!  Maybe some time.  Not so far.  So my "Blog Look" remains pretty *generic* looking.  :-)

Lovely photo of the leaves through the window!!
I used to read a book to the end even if i wasn't that crazy about. No more, to many books waiting to be read. If i don't like it i don't read it.
We have had gorgeous weather all weekend!

Beautiful view outside your window. We just returned from about 10 days at the lake. The color is much better there than here...that part of the state had more moisture this year.

I would not do well in a book club, but I do like suggestions for reading. This time of year always finds me pulling out the Foxfire books...I love reading the "ghost stories" during autumn.

Enjoyed catching up with you!

Beautiful leaves. I could never be in a reading group or book club either.

Hi Aunt Pixie! I only WISH I had more time to read! Therefore, I can't be in a book club!

Pretty leaves turning there. We're 'spose to get our first real cool front tomorrow morning early, with maybe a shower and chilly temps. They're saying upper 30's for lows later this week but up into the 70's during the day. Sounds completely wonderful to me!!! We haven't seen those temps since maybe February???

We have two seasons here in Texas...

Summmer, and...

January! Have a wonderful week!

Lovely pictures. I adore this time of the year - perhaps it's because I was born in the winter. I could do without all the rain we're having at the moment in the UK but I love cold crisp autumn days.
I'm sure The Winter Ghosts is something I've looked at - what is it about exactly??
Thanks for stopping by.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone is totally excellent.
Lynn :D
Hope to hear from you soon.

Stunning pictures of the beautiful Autumn colors! Our trees are mostly bare now, all the lovely colourful leaves are now laying on the ground.

How fun to have an Italian exchange student staying at your son's place. I have no doubt she will love her time there and maybe you'll pick up some Italian words in the process:-) xoxo
