So happy that I was reminded to look for the Full Moon.
My silly calendar doesn't show it, so I have to get used to noticing it, for myself.
Just love this month's name.... Full Wolf Moon! Isn't that coooool?

Now feast your eyes on the Coffeecake I made for 'Uncle A.' Doesn't that look yummmmmy? I used a box of Krusteaz Crumb Cake mix.
Added some Mincemeat Pie Filling to the batter. We like the addition of Mincemeat to some of our baking. Ever try it? It's quite delishhhhhh.... Anyway, I like these
Krusteaz mixes. Because he says they taste great. And they don't have a large Sat/Fat number.

I've taken out my "She Who Must Be Obeyed" mug again. It isn't insulated,
and won't keep decaf warm, as long as the insulated one. But I can warm my fingers,
by wrapping them around it!!! :-)

We have some snow cover this morning that will swiftly go once the temp reaches the 40s as predicted. Strange weather and it has ever been thus.
I think your pictures are great. Oh I miss seeing Rumpole of the the Bailey. They must have that on Netflix. We have a cable connection coming in a few weeks. Yes, it takes that long. John is going to run the cable as he trusts no one to drill holes in his house these days. =)

I do use mincemeat. I have a cake recipe which uses a jar of it. It's called Yum Yum Cake and the recipe is from my grandmother. The cake really is Yummy! : )

Do you know about this lady's blog? http://theenglishkitchen.blogspot.com She is a delightful woman with the most scrumptious recipes, but she has one where you take crescent rolls from the grocery store, put a Tbsp. or so of mincemeat in them, roll them up and bake them. So simple and yummy! I hope the evil Wolf Moon Gremlins do not get your computer! Be sure to note my response to your comment on my blog. :) There ought to be a Goat Moon, don't you think?

I have not used mincemeat where in the store would I be able to find it does it come In a can. Your cake looks so GOOD I'll try it.

We have fields all around us where we live, so it will show up beautifully in the night sky. Your cake (or pie) looks scrummy and is making me feel quite hungry! I will have to try this crumb cake it looks so yummy for breakfast, plus keep the kitchen warm. I enjoy baking in the early morning, my hubby likes fresh warm bread for breakfast with his coffee. Hugs...Lu
