I hope this prompts you to..... :-)

The latest "Victoria" magazine...

I hope, that by showing you...

...some of the things in this magazine...

...it will prompt you...

...to go buy a copy...

...for yourself.  :-)

I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

There is something-for-everyone, in it.

Some things, which are so beautiful, that they are just-dream-about-things.

And some things, which we could have/do.

And as always, "Victoria" has a lovely last page...  A sweet little memory, all on one page.

Don't forget.  If you missed viewing the Full Strawberry Moon, last night (Sat.)...  It is still FULL today (Sun.).  So you can look for it, again tonight!!!  Don't forget!!!  :-)

Don't forget! Full Strawberry Moon! :-)

First Moss Rose, planted by the back patio door...

Reflection...

First "Old Rose," in little rose garden, by pool fence, in back yard.

Just over the back fence, which looked pretty, when I was sitting out there.

Pink Forsithia

"Old Roses" by next door fence
"BK" again.  And yes, I call her "BK" for "Bad Kitty"...  Because when she first came, she used to "steal" the older cat's seat, at the corner of the porch windows.  ,-)

Don't forget the June Strawberry Full Moon!!!

According to Native American folklore, this full Moon is called a Strawberry Moon, because the short season for harvesting strawberries, comes during the month of June.

Other names for the first full Moon in June, are Rose Moon, and Flower Moon.

You can read more about it, by clicking here.  Please and thank you.

The Full Moon is coming~~~Sat., May 25th

The Full Flower Moon

Saturday, May 25th

"When the Full Flower Moon shines, it is time for my unicorn to come down from the old apple orchard to the pond.  He crops the wild violets as he steps delicately toward the cool, sweet water.  Moonlight silvers his hoofs and horn.  He comes only in May, and I am the only one who has seen him, although Anne spends many evenings watching for him, and I   believe one day she too will become his friend."

Moon~~~Growing~~~Cooking~~~Eating~~~Etc.

(Source)  Not mine...

The Full Pink Moon was gorgeous last night.  And this morning, it is raining gently.  Perfect timing.  Although weather guy said we will get a wee bit of snow too.  Which won't last, of course.  "Old Man Winter" is just not, not, not going away quietly.  -chuckle-

Dear Readers who live in the southern part of our Beloved Country........  Is this following, a Southern Saying?  "She's out there, where the trains don't run."  I'm up North.  I never heard that (great) saying, for someone who sounds a bit daft.  So, perhaps it's said-in-the-South.

It was said yesterday on the news, in regard to how "The Shoplifting-Boston-Bomber-Mama" sounded, at her Russian news conference.  Shep Smith, who is originally from Mississippi, is the one who said it.  Sooooooooooooo....   Is it Southern?  Is he perhaps remembering it, from his growing-up in the South time?  :-)

Old pic of mine, of hosta...

I'm getting gardening books out of the library for 'Uncle A.' and his gardening info is expanding, by leaps-and-bounds.  -grin-  Like, when handling seedlings to plant them in the ground, don't handle them by the stem.  Handle them by leaves.  Leaves can die off and grow new, but the stem is the stem is the stem.   And you don't want to bruise it.  :-)   Ever think of that one?????????????????

My plate of "Uncle A's"  home made spaghetti and meatballs!!!  All organic and etc.  He used local area grown (VT.) beef, for the meatballs.  Local area hot/sweet sausage...  Cans of organically grown tomatoes.  All of which, we bought in the new Natural Eating Store.  :-)))))))))))))

We are done with grabbing a jar of manufactured Spaghetti Sauce.  Home-made, you made to your own tastes.  Plus, we froze plenty, for another meal.

And!  He made the meat balls with ground G/F pretzels, instead of regular bread crumbs.  So, at long last, I could eat meatballs again!!!!!!!!!!!!.....    :-))))))))))

Yes, there is more time-spent-in-the-kitchen, with trying to eat in a more healthy way.  But luckily, he enjoys cooking.  It's one of those long-time-hobbies, which he loves being able to devote more time to.  :-)

Yesterday's kitty...

My iMac sezzzzzz... THANK YOU, for the Happy Birthday Wishes!!!  :-)

Look who walked into my back yard, yesterday morning...  Isn't she/he pretty?  :-)  I opened the patio door drapes, as I usually do, and she was there.  So I kinda-froze...  Smiled...  Didn't make a move...  And she didn't bolt!  She tip-toed her way over, up the 2 stairs and looked right in the door...  :-)  I kept smiling and talking to her.  Didn't run for camera, till she walked back down steps.  I'm watching for her, this morning too.  Perhaps get a close-up of her face.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   If she is this un-afraid, she belongs to someone, though.  :-))))

(Font of refrigerator, looking weird.  -grin-)

Finally found a book on Witches, which I could not complete.   "The Witch's Daughter" by Paula Brackston.  Naturally, I got it out, because of the delightful cover photo!!!!  How could I resist?!?  :-)  And it began, ok.  But dropped into weirdness, which just turned me off.   Bleahhhh...  -sigh-

But found a couple of possible new ideas...   And put the book names, into my Bookmarks.

(Reflection, in patio door/window)

-sigh-  No kitty today.  Guess they didn't let her out, this morning...  -sigh-

You have noticed my 2nd header pic...  ,-)  "Here There Be Dragons"...  A book of dragon stories and drawings...  Fun so far...

Oh, and the Full Snow Moon will be February 25th.  Are you ready???????????  :-))))

"...the Native Americans who lived in the area that is now the northern and eastern United States kept track of the seasons by giving distinctive names to the recurring full Moons."  Feb. Full Moon was the Snow Moon...  "Usually the heaviest snows fall in February. Hunting becomes very difficult, and hence to some Native American tribes this was the Hunger Moon."...  Source...
