♡.♡.

Thank you Dear Readers, for your answers to my question of yesterday.
.♡.
Muffy suggested pics, around home.  For my posting.  Thank you Muffy, for pushing me.
.♡.
See, my pics are not posting well, of late.  -sighhhhhh-  They show up as too-dark, like Vee has been complaining talking about.  -grin-  And they don't show up, as cropped.  This has to do with my computer.  Not Blogger.  I'm giving Blogger *a pass,* on this problem.
.♡.
But lookie!  Above!  My pic of the mantle, is showing up properly!!!!
Whooo-hooooo!
Let's try again.......

YESSSSSSSS...!
This morning's barometer shows properly.  See how it is rising?  Really rising...!
And the temp was in the 20's this AM.  Clear skies.  Sun.  Is the Full Moon coming?
Is that what is pushing our barometer up?  :-)
♡.♡.♡.♡.

ANOTHER...!
"Uncle A." got a nice piece of fillet yesterday, and was cooking it in the iron skillet, last evening.  And there was enough smoke, to set off the fire alarm.  LOL...  Eeeeek...  So, along with opening windows and doors, I got out a couple of old candles and lit them.  The alarm eventually went off.  LOL.  But the candles are still sitting on the island, this morning. -grin-  Not lit, of course!
♡.♡.♡.♡.

Do you remember *Red Hots*?

Little cinnamon candies, which were available around Valentine's Day?
.♡.
Well, I'm sure you can still get GOOD ones, in a Candy Store.  But those I picked up in the grocery store, just for decoration, are not, not, not the same.  Yikes!  They are little and red, and that's about the end of the similarity, to old-time ones.  Bleahhh...
♡.♡.♡.♡.

We haven't had *mousies* coming into the house, in a couple of years.  Thankfully...!  Part of the reason is, that I keep our pantry supplies, in plastic boxes.  Unless it comes in a can or a glass jar, which they can't chew their way into, anyway.   But.................  -sigh-  If I am not immediately diligent, about placing all the accessable items, in plastic,  this is what happens.   -sigh-    Piled on a chair or on the table.  Ugh........
.♡.
I dislike both the process of getting them under wraps.  And I dislike seeing them piled up in my kitchen.  Guess which *dislike* has won out so far, with this pile?  -sigh-
.♡.
Do you think that showing this, will *shame* me into doing what I have to do?????
♡.♡.♡.♡.

WARNING!!!
WAY-TOO-BRIGHT picture coming...!
You have been WARNED...!
-grin-

See?
I told ya'...!
-grin-
.♡.
That is an example of lightening-a pic-gone-wrong.  Gone very wrong...!  -chuckle-
.♡.
The only thing I use, to do anything to my photos, is the regular iPhoto program, which comes installed in my old iMac.  So far, I have never tried to down load any of those "play with your photos" programs.  (Although, thanks to Vee, I have links to ones, guaranteed to work on a Mac)
.♡.
But if I am not careful, even with my regular computer program, I can achieve startling results.  As seen above.  LOL...

Yeahhhhhh for your pictures loading properly! hehe I never did like those hot Valentine candy hearts, way too "hot" for me! lol Hey I find pepper too spicy as well:-) They look so cute in that darling jar, though.

It's 28F here this morning and it's grey and cloudy, supposed to get more snow today. Hopefully the sun will make an appearance soon, I'm starting to forget what it looks like!

I can just picture Uncle A with his smoky iron skillet! hehe I always light up candles as well whenever I ummmm...smoke up the meat! lol

C'mon, Auntie, get them pantry supplies in bags and in the pantry!!! hehe xoxo

Whoa, Auntie - I think I need my sunglasses AND my gas mask! I'm blinded and have smoke inhalation!

:) :) :)

Been kinda exciting over at your house, I'd say. I laughed out loud at the smoke alarm and Uncle A's fillet. Was it edible?

I guess you could give it to your mice...

Oh! I like your moon phase widget! Very cool. Maybe Uncle A was just trying to celebrate Imbolc with a bonfire. Only 6 more weeks until spring! Yay!

Yes, and that was an eye opener! You're too funny. I love picture of the load of groceries on the table. Things waiting for the pantry just make my heart sing, especially if there's Fig Newton in the mix.

Must hearken back to childhood days and those weekly shopping trips. I liked them better when I was not along for the ride and could just wait at home for the goods to show up. I'm still rotten like that as I have sent John out to shop this morning. Is it still morning? Anyway, here I sit waiting for the goods and now praying that there might be a Fig Newton.

I love the image of the smoking skillet. You have to stand at the open door and wave the dishtowel too or the picture wouldn't be complete. I used to like thos little red hearts in my applesauce. It gave it a pretty red color and a little spice.

Love your Valentine decorations! Laughing at your mousies. We used to live in this really old place and imagine our surprise early one morning to wake to our kitty running around like a maniac. We got up to see what had stirred her up and found her with a mouse in her mouth! My precious, delicate little girl, who'd always been an indoor cat a champion mouser!LOL
