Patterns made by the re-freezing of water on the pool cover. Look at those perfect triangles... It will thaw again, during the day. Freeze... Thaw... Freeze... Thaw...

I realized the other morning, when I was getting dressed, that I am getting very tired of winter clothing. -pout-
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Summer and winter, I wear simple cotton dresses from Deva Lifewear. I hate to shop for clothes and try them on in a store. So ordering through the mail, is perfect for me. I love their clothes because they are cotton. And because they are made in the USA! They have different fabrics, so you can get clothes appropriate for summer and for winter. I particularly love the dress, shown above.
♥
So simple. So comfortable. Always neat looking. Can layer a top, under it. Or not. :-) No, they aren't cheap. But they last *forever*!
♥
Did you Dear Reader, ever look at Deva Lifewear ?

While walking, we've been watching the progress of the rebuilding of a stone wall... Along the edge of the college property, right near us. The original rock wall had fallen into disrepair. These gentlemen used heavy equipment to push all the rocks back and dig a trench. Line it with plastic (well, it looked like plastic liner, to us) and fill in, with crushed stone. Smoothed between road and trench, where grass will be planted. And now are doing the very labor intensive work of re-building the stone wall.
♥
Needless to say, none of these hard working men, had extra fat on their bods. -grin-

Don't know what they are. But their pretty-redness shows now. Before all the greenery begins to grow and fill in, again.

"Uncle A." said; "You've taken a pic of this, before." And yes I have, but I love the look of this weathered piece of wood. :-)

-smile- Yes! Another change of Blog Look here!
♥
I just couldn't find illustrations of a White/Pink/Blue Background, which pleased me. So it had to *go away.* Perhaps at some later date, I'll find just the right pic, to make a (White/Pink/Blue) Background with.
♥
But for now, I am very pleased with the over-all-look here, now. Soft... Pretty... Doesn't get much better than this. For my blog, that is. :-)

"The Cater Street Hangman" by Anne Perry
(The First Charlotte and Thomas Pit Novel)
Mystery/Romance, set in Victorian Era, showing the manners and caste systems of that time.
♥
Those manners and caste systems of that time, are difficult to read about. -sighhhhh- But lots of history is, I suppose. This author does have some characters get their come-up-ences, though. ,-) I have requested the 2nd book in the Series. Not sure, I'll read ALL of the Series though.

The pattern of the ice pieces on the pool cover are so neat, such perfect triangles as you say! Everything is still frozen solid over here...5F this morning. You and me both concerning getting tired of winter clothing!!!
I never heard of Deva Lifewear so will have to check out their site. I really like that dress, it looks so comfy.
That piece of weathered wood is so fascinating, I would be taking pictures of it often too:-)
I'm so happy we'll be putting our clocks forward tonight, no more long dark evenings...yeahhhhh!!! xoxo
I really like the dress in the pic. I am going to check the link out.
Very interesting shot of the pool ice.
Cheerful and bright here this morning. What interesting work with the rock wall going up to watch.
I remember your mentioning this site before and so will go and look. I am not a fan of dresses for me, though I enjoy looking.
Wow you had lots to talk about today. Love the dress, will google that site. Spring appears to be coming to your neighborhood. Enjoy its arrival. Have a great weekend.
The Goatmother and Goatfather used to buy from DEVA back when they were a cottage industry. But then their prices went up so much! Well, they don't buy from them anymore. True they do last forever, though.
I wear the same clothes winter and summer. I'm happy with jeans and tee shirts, both short and long sleeve. More layers of them in the winter.
I love stone walls. I think I'll try building some stone walls on our land. We sure have enough stone there!!
Just checking... :-)
I love that stump...and the artwork of the woman is lovely. AND...gotta say, I'm tired of winter clothing as well although haven't even had to wear many with the mild winter we've had in NC this winter.
love the stump...love the ice...love the dress....don't love the time change...
Your blog does have a very pretty, soft look now, and I love it! That dress is lovely - great colour too. As you say, it would be so easy and comfortable to wear.
