♥ Arbor Day... Trimming, this and that... ,-)

Ahemmmmmm...   Somebody........  Please......   Trim that hair.........    But obviously, "Nana" can't make those decisions.......    But......   Please...............   He is a 'HE'........   And it gets in his eyes....

Lawn, early morning.

I love early morning slanting sunlight.

Some trees, across the street.

Since it's Arbor Day, the tree pics seemed relevant.  :-)
***
This big old tree was swaying in the wind, this morning.

Some trees, seen across our back yard.

I love trees.  I also used to love the view of the big, old trees, from our patio door and back yard.  Old trees, long ago planted down the line of backyards.
***
But the immediate neighbor's boyfriend planted scrub trees, all along her/our property line.  Unshaped and uncared for, they are just *growing like Topsy.*  So that my line of vision is curtailed...  To just the other side of my fence.   -Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-
***
And now, the neighbor and her boyfriend are no longer together.
***
But all the scrub trees he planted, continue to *mock* me.   -Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-
***
"Auntie" is not amused...
***
-sigh-  I want my view back...  -pout-

Another from-back-yard view.

"Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky."  ~Kahlil Gibran

Precious little boy!

My husband is actually planning to plant a tree or two today!

it's a shame we aren't allowed to cut
other people's children's hair or trees.

I love trees as well. My new neighborhood has quite a few and I am anxious to see them in bloom.

Hi Auntie!

Gabe is adorable, and those first haircuts are always hard! I think that it just makes them grow up instantly to get that first trim!

I love all of the trees in your yard - ours have snow on them this morning!

Anything Kahlil Gibran writes is so awe inspiring!

Have a wonderful week-end!

Hugs,
Barb

Oh I feel your pain on both complaints. I'll just leave you to wonder about that. =D

I'm sorry - maybe just a tiny trim on Gabe's hair. When else in his life can he wear those beautiful curls???!!! Let him be a baby with curls as long as he can. I will pout when the curls come off...

Now, the scrub trees? That's another matter - if they're blocking your beautiful view. Hmmm... termites?

I'm proud to say that our Pecan is the tallest in our neighborhood and you can see it coming in from all directions - waaay taller than our 2 story barn. Love it!

Of course it didn't hurt to have the last owners of our home be a landscaper:)

Unfortunately we had to remove some beds, etc. just because we don't have the time to keep up on them.

Enjoy the weekend!

Love the curls in the back of Gabe's hair! But I agree he is a boy.

Your grandson is so adorable!
I'll bet that chair I see in the first photo is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea first thing in the morning. Beautiful photo!
Enjoy your weekend!

I love your beautiful trees and the view of your front lawn is very pretty.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your nice comments. Thank you also, for alerting me to the fact that the Comment Verification setting is now on the blog. I wasn't aware of it!
It's always so much trouble trying to decipher the letters they use and half the time I don't get it right the first time!
Hope you will have a lovely week-end.

Trees are so important to me. They clean our air, the more society chops down, the more troubles we have. Everyone should plant one tree this year. I live in the woods and love it. Happy weekend.

I love trees too, Auntie. I feel a bit like Anne (of G.G.) sometimes and just want to put my arms around them. Silly, isn't it?

Yours are lovely.
