(A kind of a symphony of Spring tree leaf colors...)
It would be lovely to hear, that you too, had a beautiful weekend of delicious Spring weather...!
-happy sigh- -happy sigh- -happy sigh-

("Uncle A." doing work in the back yard, for me...)
Not only beautiful weather, had we here...
But also, a delightfully quiet and enjoyable weekend.

(And he turned the Bird Bath Fountain on...!!!)
With lots of reading....
And with hardly any time, spent on the computer.

(First frog sighting, of the year... A big one! I know he's hard to see, since I took the pic, through the Patio door screen...)
And being off the Net... Not worrying about posting in my blog, or reading the blogs of my Dear Readers, or of commenting in them... Well, it was amazingly delightful.
Which was interesting, because I (usually) really do enjoy writing my blog entries, and finding pics, to put in them. I do! I do! I do! So much so, that I sometimes wonder if I could go a few days, without almost being self-driven to begin to post again. So, to have this feel so good, was a welcome surprise to me.
Blogging is wonderful and I have no intention of dropping it. But not-blogging can be great too. And nice to know, I can do that, without *withdrawal* symptoms. -grin-
Not sure if I am ready to fully return, as yet....
Not sure.....
I will play it by ear, as they say. :-)

Btw, this cover art has NOTHING to do with the story in the book. -Duhhhhh- Once in a while, they really get the cover art wrong. Anyway, after saying that, so you won't be looking for an old fashioned gal in blouse and long skirts......... -grin-
I LOVED this book!
"The Shadowy Horses" by Susanna Kearsley...
This is the second book I've read, by this author. And I already have a third book by her, in my library reserve queue. And I am soooooooooooo happy, that she has written lots of books. -oh happy sigh-
When you can't put a book down... And when you also hate to think it will have to end... That's an enjoyable book, I do believe. :-))))))))

"Go, little book, and wish to all
Flowers in the garden, meat in the hall,
A bin of wine, a spice of wit,
A house with lawns enclosing it,
A living river by the door,
A nightingale in the sycamore!"
~Robert Louis Stevenson

But, what did you think of last night's Once Upon a Time? I thought it was a nasty trick. Five minutes before the end, I sighed and turned to John and said, "A perfect ending. Who could ask for anything more? But what are they going to do for next year?" I found out right quick!
Yes, time away from the computer can be very sweet.
i love reading a book i can't stand to put down and wish it was not done when i am through. you are a very good photographer, i love these photos, so clear and pretty. beautiful bird bath. great shot of UA.
I know exactly how your feel about blogging. I am the SAME way.
We had three days of sun which was just wonderful and today it is raining.
Auntie, it sounds like you had a delightful week-end, and I am glad you finally were able to have some sunshine. It looks like there were many outdoor projects accomplished.
Enjoy your Monday!
Love your entry...love your photos...and I can see the frog.
About the book...I do not know...But I like to read!
Hope you have a wonderful time in your yard!
Hugs

We had lovely weather and a great weekend!
My favorite pic in this post is of the bird bath! LD crafted a fountain for ours and I enjoy hearing the water fall and seeing the birds bathe!
Life is FULL of all kinds of good things.....blogs and blogging is just a piece of a bigger picture.
I would miss you if you didn't post at least every once in awhile!
I agree that time away from the computer can be a good thing. And sometimes necessary during this busy time of year when one wants to be outside or whatever one does when the weather is gorgeous. And it has been gorgeous here. It'll soon change and be hot as hades, I'm sure, so I want to enjoy it while I can!
BTW, my hubby would be jealous of your hubby's nice head of hair! So, I'll not show him the pic. :)
Enjoy your week!
Most people enjoy time away from a keyboard, even me.......lol Although when I am not reading or writing blogs I am thinking about a blog post often writing it in my head......lol
I love the bird bath. The dog ate the cord to ours, so sadly, it will not be pumping water this year.
Blogging is great, but at times we all need a little break. It is very time consuming.
I had a restful weekend also. We put the pontoon in the water for the season, and took a leisurely ride around the lake. It was so relaxing. I am glad to hear your weekend was wonderful!!
sometimes a break is nice...I've had to scale back...I just don't have enough time in the day to do everything I want and need to do...
