One "Grand" and one Exchange Student, dressed up for the Prom...

When I opened the patio curtains this morning (Sun.), look who were out on the wee little bird bath fountain pond...! 2 ducks. ,-))))) In the spring, they come to our still-covered regular size pool. But I've never seen them in this little pond. ♥ They soon moved to the big pool. Glad I came down when I did, and caught this funny sight.

(Just the completed rock wall, where we walk sometimes...)
Were you able to see that BEEEEEEEAUTIFUL big Full Flower Moon, last night? Oh it was magnificent, was it not? :-) I left the bedroom shades up all night, so that it continued to shine in. Even though *they say* we are supposed to sleep in the dark. ,-)
No, I didn't even try to get a photo of it. Just looked at it and enjoyed it. :-)

(Just a burl, on an old tree... Or rather, the place where a burl used to be.
Looks like it just rotted off...)
I've been making my pics smaller-in-size, before posting them. But I think they lose clarity, when I do that. -sigh-
Posting the large size pics, which come out of my camera, takes time and uses up space, where we *keep our pics,* for blogging, though.
I like to post my pics in a large size. (Where Blogger New Editor lets us choose the size, in which our pictures will show up, in each post.) So Dear Readers can see them, quickly. Since I myself prefer not to have to enlarge pics, when reading blogs/posts.
But I suppose that the new way Blogger shows posted pics, is an improvement. Meaning... One click and up come all the pics in a post. What say you, Dear Readers???? What is your preference???
~~~Do you prefer to see all pics, in large size, right in a post?
~~~Or do you make a habit of enlarging pics (yourself), to see them better?

I was just showing hubby the ducks and telling him how nice it must be to open your window to a view like that. Have to start throwing hints about the country life. Not going to be easy because, unlike me, he has never known anything but the city.

had to laugh when i saw the ducks, before I read your comment, I thought she needs a bigger pool for those ducks. tee hee. i post my pics in x large but they can be made larger by clicking. if it is a picture i like, i click and check out the details, to see whats there, not all but most. i blog because i love photography, some blog for reading, i like it both ways. there is nothing wrong with the clarity of you pics, they look fine. all mine are resized before posting.
forgot to mention the prom queens, i like this photo a lot.
The prom girls look beautiful! Your g'daughter's gown is such a lovely style and color.
The ducks in that small pond are too funny! What a sight that must have been when first looking out the window!
The moon was so pretty last night. I took a few shots, but haven't uploaded them yet so I don't know how they turned out. That is a project for later, I'm going out in a few minutes and brave the heat and humidity and plant the remaining flower pots.
I like the x-large photos best for myself and usually alternate between that and just large size. I don't have much luck with the 'click to make larger' on some blogs. As for your pics, I think the clarity is just fine.
Have a nice day!
Actually, I've never thought about enlarging my pictures for the blog. I've just tried to keep it as simple as possible.:-)
We enjoyed the moon last night. We heard that it won't be this close to the earth again until 2029!
Have a good Sunday!
Pretty pictures...that stone wall turned out very well. The ducks must like it cozy. =D (I like to have pictures open to nearly a full page, which for me makes it about 800 by 600 or something like that. I often cheat and put smaller pics on because I don't want to use up all my space.)
Oh that is so cute having the ducks show up there!
I love stone walls. I'll have to give that a try. We have TONS of rocks on our land.
Couldn't see the moon here by me - nothing but clouds.
I don't have a preference about the pictures. There are nice big, but I don't mind clicking on them to enlarge them.
The ducks are so cute.
If I make my pics large in my blog they go into the border on the right side and I don't like that. I have had the same layout since I started on blogger so I guess it is too late to change now. ;-)
Lovely...

The bigger the photo, the more impact, I think. I use all my space and pay for more. :)
I am lovin' that stone wall...and those pretty girls.
