-giggles-
Tuesday, he was being publicly honored.
Wednesday, he was diggin' and laying rocks... :-)
Just a beautiful view, from our front door.
The Cone Flowers cometh...
Stella Doro Lilies...
The flowers out front in the pot, seem to have perked back up... After being battered by the heavy rain, of a couple of days ago.
A chewed up little 'Old Rose'...
Little yellow Primrose... Kind of a wild flower, but very pretty... And welcome in the garden...
"Warm summer sun, shine kindly here.
Warm southern wind blow softly here."

the cone flower looks like a ballerina and i love that little yellow flower, poor Uncle A, even though he is a celebrity now, he still has to do hard labor PLUS be documented for the world to see.
Aww... congrats to Uncle A - you sure did pick a winner Auntie!
Oh my, look at those clouds. Fantastic photos.

OH thank you from the bottom of my heart for leaving the precious comment about liking my layout of my blog. To tell you the truth I figured everyone was tired of it and I needed to change it but after your comment I am happy with it again. So thanks sweetie
Your flowers are all so pretty... even the chewed up rose. I love the color of it.
I'm going to have to back track to see what the honor was, which is very nice, but isn't it also nice to be ordinary and real; to dig and lay rocks.
I like your blog entry about not being young anymore. There "are" good things about getting older.
Lovely flowers. I know you enjoy them.
The flowers are beautiful.
Congratulations to Uncle A. for his award. Very nice, indeed.

Love all of your flowers. They are so pretty.
Probably why UncleA won the award - he's not afraid to get down and work. : )
everything looks so nice...every thing is droopy here...
Hi Auntie. I'm so thrilled that you have some lovely blue skies and sunshine at last, after all the rain. Here in England, we are still having rain, rain and yet more rain :( Beautiful flowers for us to look at today, and I'm glad that you didn't let that public recognition go to Uncle's head, and that he is back to work again! Hee Hee!!
oh glad to see the award didnt go to his heade....:)
I LOVE all your pictures...you take piles of them..just like me :)
It's the good 'ole SUMMERtime!!
Triple digits here! I go out to water in the mornings and after dark. Things look wilted during the day and come back to life after the sun goes down.
"Uncle A" reminds me of my husband! Always working on a project of some kind.:)
The simple kind of day that is indeed so welcome. We awoke to more rain this morning.I'm not sure when it'll ever end.
