Decorating and tv fixing and etc....

We started our Christmas decorating!  Started!  This (above) is what I have to do.  Meaning...  Spread some of it out, on the table.
But there is still more, in the front room...  Which I mostly cropped and framed "out" of this pic.  This is a picture of poor "Uncle A." trying to get our front room tv working again.  Somehow, some time, it lost all  programing.  And he's been putting off the phone calls, to get the programing back again.
We don't use the old one in the front room, very often.  But on Wed. night, we had a programing conflict.  (We never have a programing conflict!!!  -chuckle-)  He has 2 great British car programs on, which is the usual Wed. night viewing, while I read.

But tonight, "Charlie Brown Christmas" and "Trans-Siberian Orchestra" are on.  I love "C.B." and I like to watch Trans-Siberian Orchestra for awhile.  The music is great, yes.  And the special effects.  But what's really fun, is watching all those long-blond-haired young men, swooping around and playing their violins.  ,-)  Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!   ,-)

And since the front room tv is working again, we can watch what we want.  :-)  The old tv is not HD but I don't care about that...  For a cartoon and some young-men-watching.  -gigggles-

You can listen to "Christmas Canon" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, by clicking here......

Just another because-I-can pic.  :-))))

technology can be a real pain in the you know where when it's on the fritz....they changed some of the menus on our so having to learn all over again...not easy when you have a 2 year old impatiently waiting to watch the one show he gets to watch on tv a day....

I missed it too - Mr OP usually has control of the remote until 9pm. I don't mind, I have a ton of other things to do. Plus I have sooo many Christmas classics on DVD:)

Enjoy your decorating!

I love the Christmas Canon by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! And I see a piano in the pic with Uncle A!! I'm so missing my piano around Christmas, especially. I just didn't have room for ours, which was rather large, in this house. Do you play? I'm very curious about the sheet music I see. :)
I must get to the decorating, too, but first I'm heading out to run a few errands today. That is, if I can tear myself away from this computer.
Have a nice day!

I missed the CB show.
I don't do very much decorating so I'm pretty much done. I still have lots of baking to do though which I really like.

You are ahead of me!!
Bravo to you! :))
As a pianist, you know that I noticed the piano in one of your photos. I have been playing piano now for over 50 years...still play for our church and still love doing it.
Sending you hugs,
J.

I haven't even got my decos down from the attic...just too much mess with packing and etc...I will put my tiny tree up next week sometime.

I watch tv mostly in the bedroom while my mister watches his football games, How It's Made, History channel...and etc., in the living room. :)

It's 12/11 and I'm just now reading to catch up on what everyone is up to in blog land. LOL I just got my decorations down and have started to decorate what little I do. I always promise myself we'll start at Thanksgiving but there's so much going on.
