Nothing like inconsistency. -grin- Yesterday, I said how I love photos, which give me peeks into a Dear Blogger's life. So today, I start out, not with my own photo but... With an image, from The Victorian Trading Co. But!!! It is so pretty!!! :-)
The newest Victorian Trading Co. catalog had it on the cover, and I was hooked. ,-) Even if the colors are not pink, red, green.
BUT!!! Watch out now!!! Here comes a typical "Auntie" photo!!! -grin-

Hey, I actually could do a "What Is It?" for this photo. Although, it's not all that hard to figure out, What It Is. When you go to the Lady's Room, you want one available. And you want it working. ,-)
.
The difference, about this particular kind, is that the tissue comes out, kind of like a pop-up tissue box. Like the tissues, out of a baby wipe container. Which I think is super!!! What is popping out at you, has not been touched, by anyone else. !!!!!!!!!!!!
.
I happen to be *Miss Fusssssy Pants* in public lavatories. Very much so!!! I don't want to use any piece of tissue, which was touched, by the previous user of the facilities!!! (Sorry if that's too graphic for you, first thing in the morning or something. -grinnnn- But Facts Is Facts!!!) >;-)
That catalog arrived. And the Winter issue of "The Cottage Journal." Both covers are delightful. But... I'm discovering that who ever puts "The Cottage Journal" together, does not resonate with the same colors, as I do. -sigh-
.
Anyone who has read here for a while, knows I like pinks, reds, wines, not-bright-greens, lace, etc. But who ever Edits this magazine, goes for lots and lots of browns... Which is fine, for all the Brown-Lovers out there. But not for me. Obviously, I won't renew this...
.
But we don't know, unless we try........ :-)
Yesterday, was a "do-nothing-day", because I didn't feel *Up To Snuff.* But was determined to go to Granddaughter E.'s first home Basketball Game, last night!!!! For her and for her Coach, who happens to be our middle Son. And we went! And they won! And all is right with the world. :-))))
But that leaves today, to play catch-up. :-) My library finally has my *Cozy Mysteries Set At Christmas Time* in!!! I'm taking back my other books out, and hoping to love these Cozies. I'll write down the names of books I have not read, before returning them. In case I get in the mood for them, later.
.
That and making some G/F Biscuits and regular Biscuits, so we can have them with Chicken tonight. Etc. Any day will always fill, with things to be done. :-) Hope you have a productive day today, Dear Reader.

i am with you on the brown thing, it is not a color i like at all... except of course brown chocolate. LOL
Good Morning Auntie
I got my VTC mag too and just loved pouring through it. Ahh...what lovely treasures. There's even a dress in there that I would love for our Texan's wedding - the mauve cocktail length one. But it's a little steep - at least I think so without having shopped for any at all yet.
Happy Thursday!
Leann
Brown is not my favorite color either.
I like that tissue dispenser!!
I'll be baking rolled out sugar Christmas cookies in just a bit and learning how to use my new cell phone.
Have a great day AuntieA.
Oh I like brown so I should go check out their site. Yes, Auntie, you are an enigma. And you do write about the most interesting things. Ahem. True, true, that a day fills up rather predictably and easily. I'm so seldom bored.
I love the way your mind thinks Auntie...and you are not afraid to use it....I'm weird about public restrooms too...just try not to think to hard about it...
my thoughts on public restrooms ... i hate them. if i sat right down & seriously thought about them i would never use one ever again. they gross me out how folks mess them up, don't tell the business they are in need of a cleaning or whatever it maybe. it is nuts!! you are there to use the restroom ... get in & get out ... if you wish to have a conversation do it outside in the lounge or restaurant ... i'm not the normal lady ... i don't really want to go with others because it is a private moment & if you need to really take care of business (as you said "TMI" which means To Much Info) but i wonder why they don't have music playing so you don't feel like every one is listening. i prefer my home restroom. i would never make it has a MAN ... the hubby tells me of the standing side by side of the men use the restroom ... that would make me giggle. i think this doodad would be fine for TP usage. smart idea. i would like a dispenser that would never run out. that would be nice. enough said. later. ( :
I like wearing brown. I'm fussy in restrooms as well. You can never be too careful. Now that I am on the water pill for my BP there are many times I have to go while in transit, but I'll hold it til I get to work rather than trust these city bathrooms.
Mary
Your posts are always interesting! :) I hate public bathrooms, but am glad they are available on occasion.
Yesterday, I spent a large part of the day in the storage area of the basement sorting through stuff, and looking for some picture frames that I know are there but didn't find. Today, I have to make a run to the vet's office to pick up something for Peanut. And hopefully get the tree up and decorated. Very exciting life I live, huh? Ha!
It is a pretty Victorian Trading Co. picture!
And you're right, you do want the paper ring working, lol.
Happy Thursday to ya!
I've missed a few posts and am just now getting in a little visit! I am about to pack up my laptop and head home....camper home! Hopefully I will stop by later and catch the 'missing posts!'
I'm not too much on brown, either. Some shades, like most colors are prettier than others.
I've been cookie making most of the day. Have a lot of packages of fresh baked cookies in my freezer.
Have the packages and bakers twine to put the cookies in but can't find how to make cute Christmas tags to add on ea package. Maybe over at Graphics Fairy....:)
Hugs, bj
The only thing I like brown is chocolate. I hope you feel better and I agree with you about the bath room! sandie
Here is a wave back to you from from blog! :)) Thank you for the sweet wave. Yep...I mentioned you (without mentioning your name) in my blog.
Love it here...
And I am just as fussy (if not more so) than you are about toilet tissue in a public restroom. If there is a roll, I will NOT use the portion that is hanging out of the roll. It could have been pulled out on the floor and rolled back up onto the roll for all I know. So I refuse to use that portion. I tear off a big portion of it, and into the toilet it goes. I know that is wasteful, but it is what it is. If the "powers that be" would come up with the popup tissue in the stall, then they would probably save more money, 'cause I bet I'm not the only one that does that! :))
Hugs and smiles,
J.
I'm not fond of public bathrooms but when travelling they do become a necessity. ;o) In Texas I've found that McDonalds has clean restrooms and of course there's Buc-ees with the hand sanitizer in the stall and you don't have to touch the flush handle.
