A wolf... Books... Good news... Etc. ,-)ADDITION

Did you see "NCIS" on Tues. night?
Story line....Wow!
That actress who plays 'Ziva,'  what a marvelous actress she is!
Yes?

Please let me introduce Calif. lone wolf (OR-7) to you, Dear Reader.  I'm fascinated by Gray Wolves myself.  But even if you aren't (fascinated), don't you want to learn more about a Wolf, which has his own Twitter Account (tongue/in/cheek, of course)?  And here is a site, which looks more authentic...  GRAY WOLF OR7 - Updates on wolves migrating into California.
...
Cool!  Cool!  Soooooooooooo coooooool!  :-)

Finished "The Raven Boys" by Maggie Stiefvater.  Happily, she has another one (in this series) coming.  I've enjoyed her "Wolves Of Mercy Falls" series.  And her "A Gathering Of Faerie" series too.  Also have a hold on her "The Scorpio Races."

At the moment, I'm reading "Seraphina"...  As you can see from the cover, it's about humans and dragons.  :-))))

Quite awhile ago, I read "The Daughter of Smoke and Bone" and loved it!!!  It's wildly different!  But how could I not read a book, with THAT cover?!?  ,-)
Just found out that a sequel, is out.   "Days of Blood And Starlight"...  So I have that coming, at the library.  WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE...  ,-)

Have any Dear Readers read any of these books??????

"Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones, together onstage
in 'Driving Miss Daisy,' still relish acting in their 80s."

Isn't that wonderful to hear/read?  People still doing what they love, in their 80s.  What inspiration!  Really gooooood news!  And we need to notice any/all good news we can.  Because the "bad news" is coming at us, daily.  -sigh-

"I never had any other desire so strong, and so like covetousness, as that....I might be master at last of a small house and a large garden, with very moderate conveniences joined to them, and there dedicate the remainder of my life to the culture of them and the study of nature."

We saw a couple of gray wolves run across the road when we were at the lake a couple of weeks ago

my son loves wolves, when he was 15 and having trouble in school, they put him for one year in a school at Oatland Island, in Savannah. they went to this wildlife refuge and took care of the wildlife while doing school work... his job was to feed the wolves and he fell in love with them.
have not read any of these books but those are some really cool covers..

I just started watching NCIS on DVD about a year ago. I just finished season 4. What a great show! I do miss Caitlyn though :(

A small house and a small garden would be more my style. =D

No, I don't watch NCIS preferring to listen to the radio. The news has been spectacularly bad.

Glad that you have found some fun books to enjoy. I'm reading a grammar book, which is fascinating to me. Ha!

I too love wolves... but then I love most critters. As for NCIS, yes, we watch it faithfully and last night's was especially good.

Wanted to let you know that I just finished Madelyn Alt's "The Trouble with Magic" and enjoyed it. Will go on to the next.

Hartman's "Seraphina" looks interesting also.

The news has gotten so bad that I am now beginning to not only not watch it on tv, but am going to quit reading it online!
I love the quote! Have a good day.

I watch very little TV but NCIS is one of the programs both my husband and I enjoy. Yes I think Ziva (Cote dePaulo) is a great actress. Wasn't yesterdays show a tear jerker?
I love fairies and Dragons. Love the dragon you have at the end of your blog post.
Oh I still have room in my heart for a wolf or two.

Hugs,
Penny

We started that episode this morning at Amber's. It's on pause right now. Trying to get all four babies to nap at the same time so we can enjoy a cup of tea and a program. It's a challenge! LD LOVES Ziva!! He's always hoping she will do one of her 'fight scenes.' His first wife was a black belt and Ziva reminds him of her!

I am only watching the local news which is bad enough because I get the Detroit Michigan news. The murder capitol of the U.S. :( I have not read your books but they look intriguing...I like vintage books of poetry and devotionals. I love to watch Angela Lansbury. I think she is a very good actress.

Imagine you reading a book about dragon(s). ;o)
Some of those books looked pretty interesting.
Love NCIS. I have it recording just in case.
No wolves around my place but I do have little red foxes.
