"Pop" and "Gabe," finishing the day (Sat.) by checking out the Old Roses...
Little after mid-day... Beautiful "Grand"... Ready to go to new boyfriend's brother's Graduation Party.
Sat. afternoon... "Grand's" father... In his FAVORITE JEANS. Eeeeek! Do men in your family, have such totally-gone-but-dearly-loved-clothes???
Sat. afternoon project... Making workbench for son's garage, next door.
Getting the wood, in old Truck, came first. Taking middle Grandson along. Also having lunch at a road-side stand, where lady sells the BEST HOT DOGS.
Nope, not Healthy Eating. But, it's part of summer...
:-)
The big tools, are in "Dad's" garage work shop.
See the old sign, to the top left of pic? That was from one summer, when 2 oldest Granddaughter's were running "The Compound Swimming Day Care." Complete with RULES! ,-)
Lots of boards, cut to certain size...

Checking the plans, on 'Dad's' laptop, which they brought out into the work shop. Grrrrreat idea!
This is what it's supposed to look like, when complete. That part, they plan on doing this afternoon.

all these fathers and future fathers are a perfect post for today.. the bench is grrr great and also your photos are magnificent. granddaughter is really beautiful, love the out fit
Looks like they kept busy indeed and pfft if i had jeans like that in the trash they'd go.
Great pictures! And what a great workshop. My DH has a lot of the equipment, but there's so much stuff in the garage, there's hardly room to work (most of it being my mom's stuff that I haven't been able to bring myself to go thru...)
I had an old pair of shoes...hubby finally threw them out!Hahaaaa
hughugs
I have some jeans that look just like those! : )
What a neat and tidy work bench!!
Your granddaughter is so pretty and I love her outfit!
Wonderful photos of the dads and little Gabe. My hubby would be envious of that workshop! But, I won't show him the photo, I don't want him to get ideas.
Hmm, my "haha" got cut off!
I know I have 'special' clothes! Some I am sure Louis Dean wishes I would burn!!
lots of fun family activities...yep my guys have those worn out jeans too...but I have a pair also I like to wear around the house or to the lake...
nothing like a good workbench. i love mine! let the rose grow from the new canes. it might not come back as the same rose but it should still produce nicely!
Nice project. Beautiful grandgirlie, what is going on with those jeans?! Ha! John thinks such clothing represents a safety hazard so he's not keen on torn pants, but I have noticed some holes in my son's jeans from time to time. Nothing that exceptional, though. :D
