Wondering if you can *see* my New Hair Style? :-) I never can get a pic, to show what I see in the mirror, but. Anyway, I had Patricia cut it very short, on the right side. And I've been letting, from the (right side) part, to the ends, grow for a while. Since it was layered very short, for the "Judi Dench" look, it's taking a long time to sort-of-grow-out. But by now, with 1 side cut short and the left side growing, it actually looks like a *new* hair style. :-)
And all I do is blow dry with a big, round brush. The left side of my hair always wants to flip-up. So, I like to go-with-it. And I'm happy with the look. :-)
We 3 families share one lawn mower, here on "The Compound." The other day when our daughter-in-law was cutting our grass, it began to SMOKE! Eeeek! Something wrong! Ask "Pop" (aka "Uncle A.", aka "Dad")
Seems there was an oil problem. Which took some "babying," to get fixed. "Pop," son, and 2 youngest "Grands" had *fun* with getting it working again. :-) Son and "Pop" worked... "Grands" watched... "Nana" kept "Grands" from getting into-the-"gunk"! ,-)
(This Juice looked a bit pink, due to strawberries and etc., in it. :-))

""Why are you growing potatoes when potatoes are so cheap?" a friend once asked, and the answer is that potatoes are good at absorbing whatever pesticides they are grown in, and that commercial potatoes are also run through a fungicide bath before being bagged. Who wants to feed that to your kids?"

Your "do" looks really nice! :)
Like the hair...very cute. We recently had this conversation about potatoes because I wanted to try the potato towers I see on Pinterest. Not this year as it's late to be planting potatoes, but perhaps next. (We eat a potato a week so it's not as if we are needing fifty pounds of potatoes to store.)
Cute hairstyle!
Kids have a way of finding the gunk haha good job keeping them out of it. And potatoes, yuck, hate them. Most hated food ever.
my hair has been exactly the way i wear it since 1980...and i wear it as short as i can without getting bald, which at times i have considered since my left side grows towards my face and the right grows back... many years ago when i wore it long, the left side always flipped up and the right flipped down.. i am with you, what i see in the mirror is not what i see in a photo...
i love the 4 mechanics gathered round the mower.
I really love "the look" of your new hair style, Auntie!
Lawn mower sharing...great idea!
Wow! I didn't know that about potatoes...yuck!!! I used to grow my own and maybe I will again!
Big Hugs~
I like your new do. Very nice! Much easier to deal with hair when you kind of let it do what it wants - like flipping up. Mine likes to do that flip thing too.
I think your new do looks very nice on you. i am thinking about growing my hair out a tad bit but not sure on a new do for me. I love the photo of your little grandson watching the lawn mower get fixed.
AHHH, cute hairstyle...I am about to have mine SPIKED, I think. I've wanted to do it for a solid yr but I am wondering how it will look when it starts growing out...not sure yet.
hugs
Sounds like your hair is similar to mine. I have one side that stays straight, while the other is wavy. It's hard to find a happy medium.

it is so cut to see the kids watch the mower getting fixed. they will grow up and know how to fix things. i am sure my husband never saw his father fix a thing!!!
Auntie, I like your new do. It is cute, and looks easy to take care of. Men, boys and machines..they go together . :):) I like the g.kids watching. Our foods are nasty any more. xoxo,Susie
OK, you darling woman, you...
I am going for that spiked look...
MAYbe tomorrow...if not tomorrow, the next Tuesday.
You gave me just the courage I needed to make up my feeble mind.:))
Thanks for your sweetness.
xoxo
Love the asymmetrical do!
Very scary about potatoes ... I hadn't heard that. And we always leave the skin on too, dang it.
Looks like the guys all had fun doing their manly thing.
P.S. My camera is a Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS, about 3 1/2 years old now. :)
Loving the new hair do Auntie!
Great photo!
