"Look Changes"~~~City~~~Repairs~~~Etc.

(Urns, in the Park...)

As you can see, I did "Blog Look Work"!  :-)  I didn't intend to do all this.  But I messed up, some how...  And had to "fix" many things...

(Interesting tree roots, in the Park...)

So I figured, as long as I got started, I might as well continue.

(Ballet Slipper, in front of Drink Hall)

This summer, our city has quite a few of these Ballet Slipper sculptures, here and there...  This one, is on the lawn, in front of the old Drink Hall.  (The drinking referred to, is that of various Mineral Waters, of the area.)  :-)

(Closer look at Ballet Slipper, in front of Drink Hall)

And here is a cropped look, at it.  Needless to say, you'll be seeing more pics of these...  :-)

In summer, we have wildly painted Horse sculptures, here and there.  And this year, the addition of the Ballet Slipper sculptures.

This year is the Celebration of 150 Years of Thoroughbred Racing, in this city.  Lots of special events are planned.

We've been unable to get a local channel, on our tv.  So we called, and they tried to fix it, by whatever "magic" they use.  This time, it didn't work.  So they sent a repair man over, this morning.

Not only do we have our local channel back....  He fixed old cable, inside and outside.  He showed us the way squirrels had chewed on the outside cable.  Yikes!  And this messes with reception.

And really, we could see clearer colors on the TV!   We have the phone, tv and Internet connection Package.  He said my computer, may work faster also.

Did anyone ever think to request that their outside cable connection wires be checked, for stuff like squirrels chewing on them?

♥*Pay-back* Mon. ;-) And a unique World...

Oh *naughty Auntie*...  It seems that she over-did her Lacta*d-will-let-me-eat-some-cheese-ness.

Yes, my generic Lac*aid will help, on occasion.  But I had a panini with cheese, on Sat. out.  And we made a panini with cheese on Sun., in.  (Just got a panini maker, and there was no Sun. Family Dinner because next door is crazy-wild on Sun., with all the Basketball Games to take children to, here-and-there-and-everywhere.)

-sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-  It caught up with me.  So Monday will be a lay-low-on-eating day.  :-)  Have broth for warmth, and made Pineapple Jell-*, and etc.  And have already told "Uncle A." NOT to push me, on eating dinner tonight.  He is Chef, after semi-retiring.  (He likes to cook and I never did.)  And he takes his *job* seriously.  Wants to make sure I have enough good-stuff-to-eat.  -grin-  But I have to slow him down, sometimes.  ,-)
So I really hope that you were more wise, with your eating choices, over the weekend.  And are not paying-the-piper, this morning.  Yishhhhhhh...  Not like *naughty Auntie*...  Duhhh me.

Got a new camera card and hope to be better able to post pictures again, soon.  Although, until the weather is warmer/nicer, I don't get out to take many pretty pics anyway.  And do have so much fun, finding cute, pretty, beautiful pics/illustrations/art, on the Net.  To post.  :-)

Like this marvelous art of James Gurney...  Isn't it wonderful?  Isn't it imaginative?  Isn't it beautiful?  Wouldn't you love to be able to *visit* such a world?   -happy sigh-  I would.....
