♡Glowing leaves, and trip to an old cemetery...

♡*♡*♡*♡
Love these Autumn leaves, out our bedroom window!!!

A kind of pinky-gold-ness...  -Happy sigh-  They glowwwwwwwwwwwwwww...
But rain today/Thurs.  Possible dusting of snow later.  Wheeeee...  BUT!  -happy dance-  Nights are supposed to be COLD for-a-bit.  Frost.  Frost.  Frost.  Hooray!  Hooray!  Hooray!
And anyway, we can't have true Indian Summer, until after a killing frost.   :-)
(View from Front Door, in Oct.)

Read about 160 pages more (on Wed. night), in "The Little Stranger."  Following the 100 pages I read, on Tues. night.  It's very interesting, but I still don't *know* exactly what is going on.  :-)

(An old Hydrangea, turned a lovely *Old Pink* color)

Mmmmmmm, guess what I did, yesterday afternoon?  I joined "Fly Lady"!  -grin-  Finally!  I've been hearing about her, for years and never took the plunge.  Guess I thought she was kind of a cranky gal, who whipped us into shape, as to keeping house.  And I really don't like anyone to try to whip-me-into-shape!  I rebelllllllllllllllllllllllll...

But she's sweet!!!   Not pushy sounding.  :-))))))))  Now to see if she can "help even me."  -grin-
♡
A recent nice day, we went to the very old Cady Family Cemetery.  It's kind of hidden away and you have to know where-you-are-going.  :-)  That sign, was a mess and fallen over.  "Uncle A." held it up, so I could take a picture.  ~~~~~~  Getting into the gated cemetery, and traversing it, was quite the *adventure.*  Especially for me, who is quite unsure-of-her-footing, these days.  :-)  But I made it!  Holding on to "Uncle A." lots of the time.  :-)

Somehow, I can't get the pictures I took, to post well.  ?????   *Interesting*, hu?  Doesn't this family want them, to be posted in a blog????  Whoooooo-hooooooo...

We took lovely photos and were not disrespectful.  -sigh-  Oh well, I'll try a couple of more times, and then give up on getting them to post properly.
"Nothing beats a haunted moonlit night on All Hallows Eve.... And on this fatal night, at this witching time, the starless sky laments black and unmoving.  The somber hues of an ominous, dark forest are suddenly illuminated under the emerging face of the full moon."

Beautiful colors. We are having a rainy day too.
I think I will go and check out the Fly Lady too. Have heard about her on a few blogs.
Love walking around cemeteries. Too bad about the pictures.

Hi Auntie!

I love the colors of the leaves, especially when they have that little bit of red around the edges . . . sooooooo pretty! Like you, I always look forward to that first killing frost - allergies! Besides, I think that it really makes the leaves turn so beautifully.

I love cemeteries - I know, some people think that it's kind of creepy, but, as a child, I spent lots of time with my grandparents, who happened to live on the same road as the cemetery. Most of my family were buried there, and my grandmother would sometimes fix us little picnics and tell us to go sit by great grandmothers grave and eat - she said she always loved a good picnic! We also used to play hide and seek there . . . at night . . . I was never afraid of the dark, or my relatives!
Too bad you could not post your pictures, I would love to see them!

Good luck with Fly Lady - I love her, she keeps me moving!

Hugs,
Barb

You joined up? Well good for you. If it doesn't make things easier, I'll eat my shoe. Hey, I'm so hungry, I might eat my shoe anyway.

I can NOT imagine what is going on with your photos. I really want to see the old cemetery.

Did you finish Little Stranger - I found the end a bit disappointing - interested to know how you felt?
