Thank you Dear Ones, for sharing your frustrations with daily/weekly house cleaning. Thank you so much. ~~~~~~~ And funny thing was... I posted about my frustrations. And then, we proceeded to accomplish a lot, around the house. ,-) Perhaps all I needed, was to remind myself, that I was frustrating myself. ~~~~~~~ And let me add, "Uncle A." most always accomplishes stuff. Very few days, that he kind of *takes off.* Where as with me, I have more *take off* days, than accomplishment days. :-)

Perhaps you'll remember that I was excited about watching some new tv shows, this season? Well, I watched new ones, and old ones, and am dropping a lot of both. -sigh- I didn't get-that-into "Ringer" (even though I like the lead actress). Nor did I get-that-into "Person Of Interest." Got fed up with an *old* one, "Pretty Little Liars." (Dumb, dumb, dumb and bad acting) I'm nearly *fed up* with my old stand-by "Vampire Diaries" too. -sighhhhhhh- Still have high hopes for a brand new one, coming Oct. 23rd, "Once Upon A Time." Been waiting for this, for so long. HOPE it is fun!!!

(More darkness contrasted with sunlight. Looking south/east, over pool fence)
And that is my *sad tale,* of tv show watching. But!!! Less shows to want to follow, means more evening reading time. :-))))))) Which is always a plus!!!! :-)

Is anyone noticing how I am trying to orient my Dear Readers, by having photo captions, tell where I took the photo from? Like above, I was looking out a Den window, toward the south direction. Now you know that when I show pics of the Old Oak Tree, that it is to the south of our house.
Why??????
Because I like to be oriented, when looking at photos around the homes of Dear Blogging Friends. I like to 'kind-of-know,' 'where-this-is' and 'where-that-is'. Kind of like the fun of knowing the layout of a house. ~~~~~ OK. I hear you. Saying that I'm just nosy! Yup! I am! I am! I am! -grinnnn- ~~~~~ A lot of the fun of blogging, for me, is knowing about how my Dear Readers live. Not things they don't want me to know. Not tell-all kind of stuff. Just everyday things. Like... is the Kitchen facing the east or the west? (Mine faces south) Which room do they spend the most time in? (Hearth Room and Den, here) What do they see, when they look out their windows? Etc.
Do I crave too much????????????????????

Well I did know that you like to know floor plans. Now I learn that you want to be orientated in the house. Gheesh. You do want a lot. Ha! In my home, the patio doors face south.
Glad that you accomplished so much! I have got to accomplish a few things today myself with regard to homekeeping.
Even I am looking forward to "Once Upon a Time." I think the first one is set in Maine. Anyway, I hope to watch.
I don't watch much tv. I like DancingWTS, but only watch on Mondays not caring what happens on Tuesdays since I can find out easily. I am enjoying the new Tim Allen comedy; I tend to like comedies. That's about it.
Have a happy autumn day!
Lovely picture of Falls splendor in your back yard. I don't do direction - I swear I can get turned around in my own house.
I too have been weeding through the new shows I had been hopeful about and was not thrilled with too many of them.
Ditto again about looking forward to Once upon a time.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Penny
My kitchen faces west.
In the morning i like to sit in the living room by the window. It faces east and the sun shines in. I like sitting in the sunshine. It's where i usually have my breakfast during the week when i'm alone.
I think we are all nosy. You just tell us you are! : )
I've known for awhile that you like to know the floor plans of our houses. :)))
My house faces North..no pretty view whatsoever to see. Our trees haven't really started changing colors yet....maybe soon.
Dear me... let's see, my house faces south, and my kitchen faces north. Our little farmhouse is a square box, so bedrooms face east and west!
Out my kitchen window, I can see my garden, garden shed and our land. Out front I can see the road and the huge mansion across the road and all his hay fields...
Your south view is beautiful with that big old golden oak tree. We are not having yummy fall colors this year. Too many brown dead trees. It's sad, really...
I don't watch much TV. But I did see previews for "Once Upon A Time" and I am looking forward to at least checking it out!
I need to spur myself on to do some cleaning today. We're having company tomorrow evening and a cook-out, so maybe that'll give me some "inspiration" to get my rear end off the computer and get busy!
Aren't those trees beautiful? Sorry, we don't change our clocks this weekend. I had been listening to Fox news before coming to work and he had mentioned it, so, of course, I thought it was true. I am so glad I had mention it in my blog. I would have really been messed up.

Goodness, I never know if I'm facing north, west, east or south! LOL It's no wonder I get turned around so much when I'm traveling, I usually have no sense of direction unless I have my GPS on!!!
I've never watched any of those shows you mentioned, I find no interest in them. They just don't make tv programs like they used to. I did hear about "Once Upon A Time" and plan on watching it when it starts so we'll see if it's all its hyped up to be:-) Lately I've been watching a lot of spooky movies that they've been showing on one of our stations, getting in the mood for Halloween:-)
Your pictures are stunning, like you I love it when the sun peaks through a dark sky, it just casts such a magical glow. xoxo
I can't wait for Once Upon a Time either! but you probably already knew that:) I'll shoot you and e-mail when I finish The Hidden.
xo
The leaves just glow. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
My kitchen is on the west side of the house. On a clear day in the winter when the leaves are off the trees, we look through two rows of houses, across the top of the town, out to the farm land and to the mountains. (We are on a "ridge" between two creeks or as the old-timers as the old-timers call it - Snob Hill. Not much snobbish about it anymore.) Out of one living room window that faces east, we look down a short street to a small farmhouse, a long low hay barn, farmland, and to the mountains beyond. The north end of the house looks at the city park and the tire businesses across Main Street. At least the park is nice. South, sigh. We used to look past the houses and directly at the hill but a huge house (well, huge for this area) was built on the tiny next door lot, blocking most of our view.
