My photos are kind-of dark, but it's ambiance lighting.  :-) 
Those are the 4 Santa Claus' which "Uncle A." carved/painted this year. 
Because of eye issues, he has no depth perception left,
so it gets harder and harder for him to do  his beloved carving. 
But he keeps at it, because he loves to do it.

Oh and the Oxen is to go with the Nativity Scene, he carved for son long-ago. 
There was'is no Oxen in it, and Kiera (the Italian Exchange Student) noticed. 
So.... 
It's been a fun, running joke-of-this-Season.

This son and his wife, and bro-in-law-&-sister-in-law and their kids,
took Kiera to NYC, a couple of weekends ago. 
Kiera was noticing and kidingly pointing out, that EVERY Nativity Scene they saw,
had an Oxen.  :-))))    Every year now, this son/family will remember this story,
when putting up the Nativity Scene.  :-)

Above and below, are the wooden puzzle and the grasshopper pull toy,
"Pop" ("Uncle A.") carved for baby Gabriel. 
He does this for all the "grands".  :-)

Oh and by the way,
watching my weight, is not about vanity, at 74.  It is about HEALTH. 
In 2009, I had 3 near-clogged heart arteries, fixed by 3 stents. 
No one can have that done, and eat the same way, again. 
Plus, I have to eat Gluten Free and I'm Lactose Intolerant. 
I live with built-in health issues.   :-) 
For new Dear Readers here,   THEY are why I can not enjoy
the *Goodies Of The Holiday Season.*

But it is still MY choice, to not eat them.
The heart will probably get-me-in-the-end. 
But I try not to *hurry* that along.  :-)

 People are busy, and don't have much time for Pretty Blog Land. 
Naturally!!!  :-) 
So I'll not write much today. 
Just please stay calm.  :-) 
Even if EVERYTHING does NOT get done, no one will remember.  :-)
