I noticed these Old Roses, when we came home from grocery shopping. This Old Rose is called "Joseph's Coat Of Many Colors," because the color of the petals changes, as the rose matures. Just lovely.

Do you see the reflections? I love the way this shiny garland reflects the full sunlight, in the Kitchen eating area window.

I'd like to discuss the latest episode of "Once Upon A Time." But I'm *afraid* that some Dear Reader may not have seen the show, up-to-date. And I'd be *spoiling* the story line, for them. Wish there was a way to make-a-place to talk about it, which only those who had seen the latest, could click and go to. And those who didn't want to be *spoiled,* could avoid. ..................... I guess I could make a separate page, by having a "PAGE" up under my Header???

I have a theory about where this story line, about Snow White-Prince Charming-Katherine (is that the name of the snooty daughter of King Midas????) is going. Maybe... :-)

And WHAT is going to happen, NEXT week?!?

Another pic of the mantle, before I changed those awful, too-white Faerie Lights. :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Warm/rainy in "my neck of the woods." Harrumph... Hardly December weather. I know... I know... Never satisfied! -grin-~-~-~-~-~
But one thing learned!!! It seems that all the wire connections to my computer, like through the router and the surge protector and etc., have to be checked often. Since they (some or all) seem to be coming lose, frequently. And when this happens, my computer "gets its knickers in a twist". And I can't do much, and what I can do, is slow, and it leads to photo program troubles too. Ugh... A *new wrinkle* concerning being in Blog Land. ♫♡♫ ♫♡♫
"With visions of sugar plum fairies dancing in our heads, we are perfectly at home in the dreamy world of whirling, twirling Mirlitons and arabesquing Dew drops from the classic Nutcracker story."

What a gorgeous post. I love your decorations on your mantle and in your window, and all of your fun calligraphy throughout your writing. Snow White, I didn't know about this movie.
Karen
That sure is a hardy little rose!!
Yes, I saw the reflections.
The tab would be a good idea like you said. You could also just write a little warning at the start of the post and then we that haven't seen it yet, would just skip that post.
I love seeing your decorations. Your mantle looks great. That is is a lovely little rose. Have never seen one. We've got the warm, rainy weather here as well. When your in the midst of moving, it doesn't make things any easier.

Hahahaaaaa....Spoil Away Girl! I haven't watched it in weeks!! Inquiring minds want to KNOW!!Hahaa...
The reflections are Pretty!
hughugs
Yes, I do see the pretty reflections. No roses hanging in there, though I just brought in a purple johnny-jump-up. It seems so odd. Did I tell you this already? This is the problem with having old friends like me!
Though I didn't get to see the program Sunday evening...the station just wouldn't pull...I'd not mind your discussing it. That way I could know what happened. Wonder if there's a place to watch it online...must check.
Such a dear little rose, hanging on for dear life until the frost finishes it off:-) We only had that one minor snowfall on Dec. 1st which melted that same day, since then it's been sunny or raining. Just not often we get into December and we don't have a foot of snow yet!
Love the reflections your garlands make in the sunshine, so pretty. Your mantle looks lovely as well. Have you ever tried putting your lights under the lace covering? That's what I always do, as well as underneath cotton batten. It just gives off such a wonderful soft glow. That's what I did to my mantle again this year:-)
I missed Once Upon A Time again, darn it! You can blog about what happened, I need to know! lol xoxo
I love your garland AND the reflections! My cat, Maggie, would have a ball with something like that.
Those TOO WHITE lights may be the new LED ones. I tried to use some and I didn't like them either! Kind of a 'blue' white......I like the 'soft' white.
I do see the reflections your garlands make in the sunshine...quit pretty and lovely to look at. I don't have any idea about the show your talking about what time and channel does it come on.Have you thought of changeing the blubs to a soft or another color. I do enjoy reading your post...I think I'm a follower I have to go check. Merry Christmas Trish
The reflections are so much fun. Love seeing your decorations. The rose is so pretty. Enjoy your weather; winter is coming. Hugs
PS: To Vee and anyone else interested. Hulu.com has some episodes of Once Upon a Time. I'm not sure how many or which ones.
The multicolored rose is beautiful, as are all the seasonal decorations. There is childlike excitement here.
