♡Post! Quickly! Quickly!

Well that was interesting.   I tried to put up a new header pic, a photo of my own.
And it would not place-properly.  It was to-the-left.  I finally discovered that my regular blog and my private-just-for-"playing" blog, showed that they were "cropping my header pic" to different sizes.   ????????   I have them both set alike.
How did that change happen????
~-~-~-~

Doesn't it seem, that at times, our computer gets *a mind of its own*?  *Things* start happening...  *Things* we don't remember doing...  Hmmmm.........   Please tell me, that I am not the ONLY one, it happens to!!!!  ~-~-~-~  Others have their Header Pic
do weird things, at times.   Right???
Why???
How does this happen?
Are the machines already thinking?
Are the machines already 'doing', on their own?
Hmmmmmmmmm?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
-chuckle-
Please cue music from "The Twilight Zone."  ,-))))

It's snowing!!!
And my barometer is falling!!!
Lots of flakes, dusting everything in sight!!!
Yes, I am so unusually happy, to see snow....  Because we have had so little
this winter, so far.  -sigh-

I have never gotten to wear
my new boots with red plaid on them.
Harrrrrumph...  -gigggles-
But!!!
My hands are freeeeeezing...  -pout-  Will I make up my mind, hu?
Do I want winter snow?
Or do I want warm hands?
Seems I can't have them both.
:-)

Look what I found?!?  A picture I took of our old Drug Store,
back in 2008.  For a blog I had then, showing pictures of *My Old City.*  :-)
The same marble topped counter, to the left, as you come in the door.
But way down in back, you get a peek at the store, as it was,
before having to switch to  compoulnding...  And put new lab in...
~-~-~-~
 I hope that today...

You have the weather you want.

Your computer does not seem to *get-a-mind-of-its-own*.

And that your computer does not turn off, like mine just did.

Mmmmmm...  quick!  Post!

I WISH we had snow too! Our winter weather here in Utah has been more like fall or early spring. Putting up with the cold and no reward of the beautiful white fluffy stuff... =(

I find that Blogger has more a mind of it's own than my computer. But, they both seem to go opposite ways of what I'd like them to at the time. =( So, girl, youz not da only one =)

Great picture of the older drug store setting.

Oh computer woes...yes, my dear...there really IS a computer with a mind of their own. And I think you and I possess one. I've had that happen to me a gazillion times. But, if this header here is the one you said was not aligning correctly....it is in my monitor...centered and so very beautiful!!!!

Winter snow? I'm a wuss when it comes to snow any more....you keep it there, okay ---and enjoy it for me. I'm off to the beach.

I don't think it is always the computer, sometimes blogger has a mind of its own! Have a great day!

No problems with photos, but I have been having issues with paragraph spacing. Some paragraphs will come out perfect. Others will be double the size, then have to go in edit, and over and over again work with deleting things until it comes out the way I want it.

PS I love your pharmacy. Would love to visit in person.

I call them "gremlins" when something goes on with my computer! lol Your header looks perfect to me and I love that picture. Touch wood but I haven't had many problems with putting up pictures, backgrounds, headers, etc, on my blog.

It's 24F here at the moment, much warmer than the -4F we had two mornings ago!! Still just a little bit of snow on the ground, nothing like we usually have at this time of year. Not complaining, though, Winter will seem so much shorter this way...unless....it decides to snow into June! Yikessssss!!!

Have a terrific day, dear Auntie:-) xoxo

Pea is right - gremlins. Still I think it has more to do with Blogger, itself, than anything else. You can highlight your picture and there is a center icon, just like in one of your word processing programs. Don't worry. You aren't the only one that struggles. You should try it with hooves. :)

I too have had this problem with the picture setting in the header. I think it has more to do with blogger's then my computer. I know bloggers has added two pictures of me to most of the blogs that I follower so they have problem's.

The sky looks threatening so perhaps there'll be some snow.

Yes, oh yes, to all of your questions. Things change and I have no idea what is going on.

This header is perfectly centered and that is what counts I presume.

Enjoy wearing the boots!

Oh yes, sometimes my computer gets a mind of its own too. Very frustrating when you can't figure it out.

BTW - My icicle picture - taken yesterday in western Maryland.

Hi Auntie!

I have given up on trying to do anything fun with my header - it never works! But, I really love your header and you background, they are so homey and fun!

My computer does have a mind of it's own - and it thinks on it's own too . . . I'm sure of it! Sometimes, it will start playing music, all on it's own - go figure!

We are still "snowless". The forecast says that we may have a few scattered snow showers on Saturday; I hope that's true, because I really miss the snow this year. I can't wait to see a picture of you wearing your boots - please post one!!

Hugs,
Barb

I've been working on my header today.

I love the drug store photo. That is my kind of store. Did it have a soda fountain? Our family doctor's office was above a drugstore, when I was a child. After each and every doctor visit, at least at the office (he also made house calls), anyway...after office visits he gave us a stick of Juicy Fruit gum and a "prescription/coupon" for an ice cream cone at the drugstore. Those were the days my friend.:-) The drugstore is now a restaurant and there are no offices above...in fact, the elevator no longer works. There are stairs going up to the offices. I had no idea there was an elevator in the building until one of my classmates was talking about it recently. Floodgate of memories have opened up here!

Hi Auntie

I love that subway tile floor! Tying to put Christmas away little by little here. The tree is still up and the kitchen, but the dining room is a wreck.

I'm wanting snow even it's just a dusting I want it. Now a few years back when we had the blizzard that was a different story. If it's going to be cold and mess with how I feel then I at least want it to snow.

Enjoy wearing your boots, I haven't bought any yet - mine are over 20yrs old.

I really like that old drug store, so different from the ones we have today. The old ones had so much character. They also had ice cream counters. No snow here in CA just hot weather although the forecast is for cooler days in about a week. Thank you for visiting...Lu

The "Animal Crackers" poem was my favorite as a child and my mother would read it to me whenever I asked...which was often! Makes me feel warm and wonderful just thinking about it!
Thank you for your visits!!!
