♡Valentine Over Load! And other stuff... :-)

ADDITION:

I asked if you could see my pics, because "BJ" told me she saw lots of little boxes on my post.  ~~~~  Think I have figured it out.   ~~~~  Think the little open-valentines  I use, to separate parts of my post, and at beginning and end of my posts, do not show up on her computer screen.   Just little boxes show up.  :-)

In my yesterday's post, did my pictures show up?
Or did you only see little empty boxes, or some such?
.♡.
Here, do you see Vintage Valentines?
Or only empty boxes?

NCIS...  Wasn't it super, to have "Mike" back again?
On the 200th episode, Tues. night?
I so misssssssssssssssss "Mike"!!!!!!!!  -pout-
~*~*~*~*~

Btw, I am getting tired of Valentine's Day stuff.  Perhaps this will be the last post,  totally dedicated to Valentine *Cutsy's.*  Betcha' many Dear Readers will be in agreement.  :-)  Time to give the Valentine's Day Hoop-la, a rest.  ,-))))))))

Plus, I can't eat ANY of the usual Valentine candy or foods or desserts.  CAN NOT EAT them, at all.  So why *torture* myself, with all the Hoop-la?  -grin-
~*~*~*~*~

Another thing, I am getting tired of...  Is.....  Not paying more attention to what I let into my mind.  Many things in life, are not able to be controlled by us.  But we can control, what we willingly let into our minds.   And what we willingly allow ourselves to dwell on.  And what we willingly let ourselves fret over.

Ahem...  The NEWS, for one thing.

We are both fans of Megan Kelly, who does "America Live" on Fox, from 1pm-3pm.  (Duhhhhhhh Fox, could you please get a new pic of her, up on this page?!?)   Every week day, sometime during 1pm and 3pm, we turn it on and see what her hair is styled like  that day, and what she's wearing that day.  (Yesss, we are very shallow, I know.  -gigggggles-)  Anyway, we think she is the cooooooooooooolest.  :-)  And I usually say, turn it on, but MUTE the sound.  Because as much as we "loves-us-some-Megan", we do "not-loves-us-the-news".   -sigh-

But....  Since I am hard-of-hearing, we always have the close-caption thing turned on.  And it's very easy to just READ what's being said.  Which still exposes us to The NEWS .... On TV.  -sigh-  And then, I'll see something, and say "Turn it up" and we are *Off To The Races"!!!!   With our minds being jammed full of troubles.  -sigh-
~*~*~*~*~

And not only The NEWS....  On TV.  Me'thinks I need to start paying more attention to many things I read.  The Word Wide Net is full of wonderful information.  And it's also full of Crap-O-La too.  Information outlets...  On this and that...  Which can rile me up.

And...  Sad to say....  'Blog Land' falls into this category too.  We know that not each-and-every blog, is good for us to read.  We know the blogs, which often tend to *get our knickers in a twist*, or raise our blood pressure.  Sooooooooo, why do we keep reading them?  ,-)

Interesting yes?  All the things we do, because they are habit?  Do we sometimes make the effort to examine lots of habits?  Or even, a few of our habits?

-sigh-  It's no fun to examine much of anything we do.  -pout-  'Tis so much easier to just keep *bopping along.*  Doing what we always do.  When we always do it.  It's so very  comfortable................   That way......................   -sigh-

I see pictures...your Valentine ones today...but still lots of little boxes. Is it just my computer settings? Do you not see the boxes when you view your blog? Now I am wondering if others see the boxes, too. Good grief, if it's not one thing with blogging, it's another. hahhaaa....always something, hu?
Hope your day is going to be a great one.

I saw your pictures yesterday and I see them today. Are you trying to tell me something? =)

As for news, John loves "his" girl. I do not. Not even very much at all. I sit in here at my computer at the other end of the house and, because my hearing is very good, I know what is going on at all times. ;> This finds me yelling. Yes, yelling. I am not proud of it. I really think that I am going to get earplugs or something.

Now I have a question for you...why would you want the Valentines to fade out now as Valentine's Day draws near? It's very sweet here and not a calorie to be found.

i only read happy blogs, blogs that i enjoy and feel connected to!! in life we all experience saddness, that's o.k. too, as long as it's not everyday.

i enjoy fun topics, pretty pictures, travel, nature, well you know what i love because you follow me!!

Louis Dean loves Megan Kelly and all FOX news and Squawk on the STreet and Opening and Closing Bell. Me, not so much.

I missed NCIS because Amber and Mike don't watch them. But they are on the DVR at home and LD and I will enjoy them together later.

I have a tender delicate mind and I have to be careful what I allow in there. I only read 'friendly' blogs and I am pulling away from the more commercial ones. I think of my blog time as visiting with a few friends to see what they are up to. Kind of like a coffee club!

Hope your day is SPECTACULAR!!
(Or at least GOOD!)

Noooo, you can't give up on Valentine decor until the day AFTER Valentine's Day!! hehe Who can resists all those darling Valentines...not I:-) And yes, I can see all of your pictures in this post and yesterday's.

I'm getting to the point I don't even want to watch the news on tv anymore, it's just depressing anyway. Why is it that it's all the bad stuff that makes news and yet the good stuff is hardly ever shown? That's what humanity has come to, only bad news sells!! Sigh!

As for blogs, I learned a long time ago to just visit the ones I thoroughly enjoy and whose owner I feel close to...like you:-) xoxo

no black boxes for me, just the valentines i used to use in elementary school, which makes me vintage tooooo
i rarely watch the news, did pop over to see who Megyn kelley is, never seen her before. hubby watches CNN when he watches news and the local NBC channel for local stuff. i see flashes as i walk through the living room.
and as for blogs that make me crazy, i go there once and never go back. all the blogs i follow make me happy and i like the people and count them as friends. of course there are some I LOVE and some i Like

I've never had a problem seeing your pictures. I love happy blogs as well and have always enjoyed coming here. Like you, I sometimes get drawn into things that raise my blood pressure. Can't help it. Guess I am just a glutton for punishment.

I've seen all your pictures and no little boxes.
I've been enjoying your vintage Valentine's. : )

I find the news just has little bits of information that really doesn't tell you much of anything. We always watch our local news at 11:00 and then go to bed.
I find it annoying to watch because they make everything so dramatic - even a dusting of snow!!
I do like to listen to the weather though so I have an idea of what my morning walk will be like.

Hi Auntie

I'm afraid I missed a ton of TV shows this week - I was home for 2 days and all I did was sleep and surf a few blogs here and there. Still not up to par but definitely on the mend.

I'm not in the mood for knicker twisting this week - too much of an effort:)

My dear, I see all your images. I think some browsers and the blogger visitors' servers are out of kilter sometimes. And you say in your post here..."fret"...well, don't fret over the little things such as what other bloggers comment on either....some days it's good while others are not so good. That's life. Don't go gettin' your panties in an uproar [the old adage..or is it an adage...well, it's something Bud tells me when I 'fret' over something that cannot be changed]. LOL

Anyway, I watch NCIS online last night since we no longer have cable TV...and I was sorely disappointed in the program. It was supposed to be a special one...their 200th episode celebration...yet to me, it was quite stagnant. They've had so many of the 'dead' floating around and returning in 'dream-like' sequences. I want more action thrillers and mysteries. Not what this one was. But don't get me wrong...I do like Muse Waston. He was great as Gibbs' superior
