♥ Photo Application seems to be working!!! And a book...

Thank you so much Dear Readers,
for your sweet and understanding comments,
about my little *melt-down.*

"Saving CeeCee Honeycutt" by Beth Hoffman
I enjoyed it *muchly.*  A simple little book, which starts off with sadness...  And wends its way to happiness...  With lots of twists and turns along the way.  A fun read.

Just the Easter Egg wreath, on the mirror, over the mantle.  I haven't even put the rest of the Bunnies and a beautiful Decorated Egg (made by and given to me, by one of my Dear Daughters-in-law), out on the mantle yet.  And I was just testing, putting pics from my camera, to my computer and posting them.  So far so good!!!!

Just fiddling-around with my new iPhoto application, which comes on my new iMac.  Cropping and framing and making the colors more intense and just kinda' wild.  -grin-

And another one,  just fiddling-around.   These colors are made way tooooooo bright.  Actually, I don't usually like to do things like this... I'm not a fan of lots of Photoshopping Effects.  Call me *Olden* or just Grumpy, but I prefer photos to show, mostly what was really *there,* seen through the view finder.

I know!  I am very much in the minority.  So many bloggers have so much fun, with Photoshopping their photos.  This is just me, and my preference.  I prefer to not mess with what's *there.*

And here is just a left-over picture, taken when we were at "The Olde Bryan Inn" restaurant in town.  This is upstairs in the older Ladies Room.

And another...

And another...

And one taken on the 2nd floor landing, outside the Ladies and the Gents Rooms.  Think I remember the present owner tell us, that this was an area, where  the Ghost of the Lady In Green has appeared.   I waited around up there, to see if she would come.  But nope.  Not even though I was sort of calling to her, in my mind.  And running my fingers on the wall...   Oh well, perhaps another time.  I just keep trying........  :-)

If I ever have luck, I'll be sure to tell you!!!!!!!!!  :-)

and all that to us seems an exception
is really according to order."

Hi Auntie!

Hope you are feeling better today... :0)

My picture applications did not work yesterday . . .on any site! I'm blaming it on the sun burst thingies . . . is that a word?! It's working fine today. I wish I could have seen the Northern Lights though, what a site!

Your pictures are beautiful- I hope you get to see that ghost one day, and please post pictures!

Hugs,
Barb

Dear Auntie,
I like colored eggs. I wish those stupid ducks would lay some that looked like that - all lovely colors and sparkly.

Years ago, before you started blogging, did you ever think you'd be taking pictures of a ladies room? lol We are true bloggers indeed, we take pictures everywhere:-) hehe

I love your egg wreath sooo sparkly and pretty. It is fun to work on pictures with photoshop but like you, I prefer to see the pictures the way they were taken:-)

It's 25F and snowing right now...sigh! Hope the sun is shining in your little corner of the world!! xoxo

Pretty wreath.

All professional photographers use photo editing tools though. I love them.

I just popped over from Dianne's blog. I love all your photos, so bright and fun. I used to be a graphic designer so I had to get use to using photoshop and I do love what it can do to photos. Sometimes the camera doesn't quite capture all the vibrant colours and that is when photoshop comes into it's own.

Great blog. :)

I have been using Picnik when I wanted to collage or soften something up. Don't know WHAT I will do now. Just make do with what I have!

LOVE all your pics - especially the Easter egg ones.

Good, happy morning to you "Auntie"!!! I love your wreath and all the sparkles. Which reminds me, with my work around the house, I haven't even put out anything for St. Patty's Day and I usually do. Will get to that this morning if nothing gets in my way. LOL

Oh, and your images...I love how you 'angle' your lens to take such a interesting perspective!!

By the way, I don't suffer from any heart fibrillation...what I have had for the past 15 years or so is tachycardia. Where the heart sensors and nerves set my heart rate to anywhere from 150 to 300 beats per minute. With my heart ablation three years ago, it seems to have worked wonders; but still on heavy medications.

Hey, how you doing. I've not been round for a while - I really need to follow your blog so it gives me a little nudge - do you have a follow button (I can't find it but then sometimes I really can't see the wood for the trees).
I love all your pics (as usual) especially the fallen tree limb - which actually looks like its coming alive (or perhaps my imagination is too vivid?) The picture of the water with the triangles is lovely - you probably couldn't make such perfect triangles if you tries - nature is so funny!
Take care
Lynn :D
