♥ Later, still Wednesday...

Our flowers survived very well.

As you can see, from the pictures in this entry.

-chuckle-  You just *knew* that I couldn't stick to a very plain (pic of grass) Background, didn't you?  Nope, I just had-had-had to get a prettier one.  And even this one, probably won't last too long.

It's just that the "JUST-GRASS" was just tooooooooooooo boring-looking, to me, after a while.

My blog.

My choice of Background.

My preferences.

No one else has to have the same preferences, as I do.

Just saying...  :-)

Our hour with Gabe, was fine.  This is all the baby-sitting we do now days...   Just if Mommy/Daddy have a joint meeting, for about an hour.

Last time, he wanted to come over here.  But he wasn't as contented, after a while.  Plus, he tended to make-a-mess.  And I am a Nana who mostly insists that 'Grands' pick-up, what they have played with.

MEAN "Nana"...  Don't say it.  I know.  -grin-

NO!   I am not sorry, for being old-fashioned, in such ways.  Children do not make a mess, and then leave it, for someone else to pick up.  (Training for Life!!!  ~~  Will someone pick up their "messes," all through life?????  ~~  I don't think so.)

"Auntie's Skirts

Whenever Auntie moves around,
Her dresses make a curious sound,
They trail behind her up the floor,
And trundle after through the door."

I'm glad the storms didn't damage your lovely flowers!
Personal responsibility begins at a very early age.

Glad your flowers survived. And I say train those children while they're young!

Your flowers look beautiful. Bright and pretty colors.
I agree, children should pick up after themselves. I think more people should think like that!!

Good to see that your flowers survived the storm! They look so delicate and yet can withstand such storms...amazing!!

I taught my kids to pick up after themselves as well so I'm with you on that. They want to take toys out, well then they can put them away when done with them!! I was glad to see that my son and DIL are teaching Lily the same thing:-)

Love all of your backgrounds, no matter which ones you use:-) xoxo

I think that you are teaching a good thing. I teach it, too, and try to make it fun...when I'm not being irritable and cranky.

So glad your flowers came through unscathed! They are all so pretty and the header pic goes so nicely with your new background.
I'm with you on teaching children good lessons while they are young...the very best time for them to learn.
