And now, for some peace and quiet... :-)

(Reflections...)

Not many Dear Readers, had imaginary playmates...  I need to do more research on the topic.  But then, do we believe all the research, we find?

I didn't "believe it", when someone said that Thanksgiving is next week.  Hehhhhhh...  'Tis.  'Tis.  Somehow, I thought it was later in the month.  But then, guess one could say it is already too late in the month.  Lucky are they, who have Thanksgiving a bit earlier.

Do you "do" Black Friday?  (We don't.)

Are you going to end up "doing" Black Thanksgiving, if sales begin that early?

When does it stop???

Looking out patio door/window...  Reflections from inside the Hearth Room...   At top, you can barely see the silhouettes of bare trees, outside...

In summer time, the fire escape here, is hung with many, many hanging pots of flowers.  Quite a beautiful sight.  But later in the year, The interesting brick work and stained glass windows, show up more.

Your home looks so warm and inviting! I really love the 'reflection' photos.

We don't do Black Friday here.....or Black Thursday.....and never, ever will. Stores are more than enough of a madhouse at the best of times, lol.

Auntie you are always welcome to email me...since I don't want to spam you; my email address is on the About Me on my blog. =)

Oh another beautiful Pilgrim lady...I love these kinds of images.

You're special to have had an imaginary playmate. Probably not too many children have the imagination to pull that off. ☺

Thanksgiving must be early this year because I thought the same as you.

No Black Friday for me, though both my daughter and daughter-in-law swear by the good deals to be had.

i was surprised that thanksgiving is next week but i guess it is always the 4th thursday and that is how it worked out this year. it made more sense to me when we lived in canada and it was the second week in october, when harvest is. i never do black friday shopping. i hate consumerism and crowds. i make the gifts i give my friends and i order online for everything else. do you have special thanksgiving plans?

No Black Friday for me... Just internet shopping. Any sizable town is 50 miles from here. And I like it that way!!!

i think some where along the road we lost a week because thanksgiving is too close. i feel like it should be 2 more weeks ... not next week. oh well... life goes on. pinch ourselves i guess. the hubby saw snow flakes on the way to work this AM. it was 32 degrees ... it is suddenly freezing around here. brrrr!! so cold. (:

We don't 'do' Black Friday!! We avoid it completely! We will enjoy Thanksgiving and then we will have the entire weekend off and I intend to read and rest and nap - a lot!!

We do Black Friday about once every five years (forgetting how horrible it was), but we always leave empty handed, amazed at the long lines for what?

I love your pictures, everything looks nice and cozy.

Hi Auntie

I love all the sneak peeks into you home - lovely!

I only did black Friday a few times. We were at the mall by 6am and home by 10 when things really started to get crowded.

I find it's easier to shop for bargains all year and since the guys don't ask Santa for specific things it's easy peasy.

Woo hoo tomorrow is Friday!

Love the pattern of the bricks and the stained glass windows in the photo. I have never done Black Friday and I definitely will not be going Christmas shopping on Thanksgiving night. I feel sorry for the employees that won't be able to fully enjoy their Thanksgiving because they have to go into work that evening. As far as I am concerned, the stores can keep their "bargains" for another day or two.

I avoid Black Friday like the plague.
Now I did it 3 times when my mother in law was still living but no more.

I like to people watch but not the pushing and shoving.

Hope you have a great week. (Trying to catch up on my blog reading) Again. lol
