Early in the morning...

"Custom, then, is the great guide of human life."

~David Hume

(Neighbor's Christmas Tree)

Things must be very busy at Susan Branch's house this morning...

(Moon, through Den window)

Because if I remember correctly, "Yankee" magazine is coming tomorrow...  Dec. 11th...

(Wee bit of dawn, through den window)

To photograph her house, in all its Christmas-y Prettiness...    :-)

(A bit more dawn, through den window, in a South East direction)

For their next December's issue...

(Moon, out open patio door)

And then, when the magazine photographers are done...

(Guess this is another setting...  Of moon out patio door)

S.B. will be sharing her own pictures of her Home At Christmas Time, on her blog...

(Close-up of faerie lights and garland, on Den window)

Which means...

(Early morning reflections, in kitchen sink window)

...she will be sharing them, with us!  :-)

you saved the best for last, i love that last photo of the jars and the window reflections. i did pop over to look at last years Gabe and Pop playing with the train, and was amazed to see i commented on it last year, which means we have known each other a year or more. time is on fast forward. Gabe will be even more fun this year because a year older..he is so beautiful.

I bought a train set to go around my tree years ago. Set it up one year and my cats (I had two at the time) kept chasing it and knocking it off the tracks. Eventually I gave up and gave it away.

Another declaration of love for the jars!

Having a magazine photographer loose in your home must be the scariest thing ... can't say I'd fancy it!
