Someone mentioned that she figures, that we in Pretty Blog Land, are very, very, very busy at this time of year. And actually, I am not. Being my age, at the "Nana Stage Of Life," this is a given. No children in the house, to complicate Christmas Time. But, it got me thinking....... Is EVERYONE ELSE, very, very busy at this time of year?
You Dear Reader... What is your answer to that question? Please and thank you.

Yes. Very, very busy. And I have no children in the house either. Hmmm...
Pretty and cozy perfect pictures from your house. I really identify with that cartoon.
guess it depends on what you consider to be busy. i've always been told you take on what you pick to do. if you have to much on your plate you are allowed to pick & chose what you want to do each day. that simple. if you don't need to do it that day give it up. you know the saying "you are what you eat" ... i think "you are what you do" ... so you have to remember to breathe & relax a bit each day. no worries. i love that cartoon ... i broke my arm as a kid & my sinuses tell me as well... so i know when it will rain or other sorts of weather. sounds like you need a nap ... is that why you ZZZZzzzz? go ahead if you must. ha. ha!! i'm having blogger issues ... off to work on them again. nuts, i tell ya. ha! ha!!! It is a busy time for me. Of course, the fact that I still work does increase my busyness. I'd love to have this entire month off to prepare for the holidays.
This will be our first 'real' holiday in our new home. Oh, we had Christmas here last year, but we'd only just moved in ten days prior so we were still unpacking. Lucky to even have a tree up.

not busy here, just busy with blogs and emails...and normal every day stuff. before i retired i was busy every day. i am enjoying the no busy time of my life. but some people don't enjoy that. i know several who were so bored with retirement they work part time to have something to do. i like the comment on here about we pick what we do that makes us busy or not. that is so true.
Yes extremely busy but I enjoy it! With work, university, and Christmas activities it's hard to make leisure time. BUT that's par for the course for this time of year!
I am busy - but have myself kind limiting what I am doing each day -
And I love that Santa - can I borrow your picture and give you credit?
Your blog seems so cute today.

i am beyond busy! but, i love this time of year! i love being busy!
No, not really. We have pretty laid back holidays around my house.
It is just the two of us so there really isn't much to do.
Busy here but not with Christmas shopping...yet!
Love the background!!

I used to be busy, but these days, not so much. What with MS and a Bah! Humbug! husband, my life has slowed down...waayyyy down.
BTW, is that lovely red hanging lamp an Aladdin Lamp? (I ask because we just were given an Aladdin that my MIL had, and my husband is retro-furbishing it back to its kerosene lamp roots.)
In my little corner of the world - we have been very busy this year for some reason. Sure hope it slows down a bit in the New Year.
Hugs,
Penny
I keep my busyness spaced out....not having kids or grands around is lonely but I am not sure if Frank and I could keep up with the busyness we used to. I need to do my Christmas card...Tomorrow....that is busyness to me LOL
Yes. I'm done shopping but now I have to do the darn wrapping. ugghh
I still have shop for Christmas dinner etc etc and I work every day.
But I keep a singin.....
