Egg--Garden--Food--Book-- :-)

How to easily take the shell off a hard cooked egg....

Yes, I am really having a hard time, finding things to take photos of!!!!!!!!!  LOL

Anyway, you take a bit off the bottom of the shell.  Then keep sliding a spoon under it, and easily peeling it away.  "Uncle A." showed me this "trick."  :-))))

....Another sad try at a photo....  -gigggles-

The front garden, waiting for Spring.  -sigh-   Btw, I just noticed, at the bottom of this pic, a cigarette butt!  And no one in the family smokes.  Hmmmm, how did that get there??????

....My dinner, on Wednesday...

-grin-  Betcha' you thought you were going to get away without a food pic, this time, didn't you???  Heh, heh, heh...  Nope!  I took it and I'm going to use it!  :-)

I had a packaged Gluten Free Sliced Beef Burrito, which I got at the 'Healthy Eating Store'.  They have a BIG SELECTION of G/F!!!  Burritos aren't very *exciting* looking, and I put some Sweet Pepper Relish on each side of it.  It didn't look sooooo lonely, that way.

Salad was 3 greens again...  That's some of my Goat Cheese, and Honey Roasted Peanuts, and Raisins, and another G/F thing I got at that store...   G/F Bagel Chips.  I broke them up and they made SUPER Salad Croutons!  Have NEVER found good/yummy G/F Salad Croutons before.   Hooray!!!  And Newman's Raspberry Dressing again.

Who sezzzzzz that 'Healthy,' can't look/be 'Yummy'?!?!?!   ,-)

I'll have to remember that spoon trick with hard boiled eggs. You know, that outside pic you posted is the first one I've seen of yours without snow :)

Auntie, I boil my eggs for 15 mins (or you can let the water go to boil and let the eggs sit in it for 15 mins), then let them sit in cold water and ice for a few minutes, then I peel under running water... usually shell peels right off as the cold shrinks the egg away from the shell. I was also told once that you should crack the egg at the small side as that's where the air bubble is... (think that's right?) But I'm happy to try the spoon method too.

Your healthy eating looks yummy. And your pics look great. I have a hard time with 'food pics'...

I love hard-boiled eggs, any kind of eggs. Hmmm, wonder who left the cig butt? Maybe it just blew in from the street. Have a nice weekend!

Auntie...no snow, yippee. I need to get busy working on my flower beds. Good tips on taking the shells off eggs. You sound like me...I have to add something to a plate, if the food looks sparce. Veggies sticks is a good thing to add.xoxo,Susie

I LOVE goat cheese. What a yummy looking salad.

Your pansy photo has me dreaming of spring too. Soon, soon.

Thanks for the handy egg-peeling trick - I tend to get little bits of shell everywhere. This will help. :)

Regarding the cigarette butt in your front garden area and how it got there: the same way the beer cans and dirty baby diapers get in the right of way on the highway that runs in front of our house. There are some sorry littering people out there!
Makes me SO angry!!

Well another fun fact that I wasn't aware of. I'll have to try it.

I'm really hungry and waiting for Mr OP to get home. They finally finished putting in our new oil tank - what a pain!

Enjoy your weekend!

Who would have thunk it...a spoon to peel a boiled egg...I will definitely try it. For a few seconds I thought I would see shadows of clothes on a clothes line with your failed photo of your front yard :)
