Recording (in a photo) putting the pool pump on again, this year. Look way to the right, and see "Uncle A." and son-in-law, doing it. To the left, you can see daughter, lending moral support. :-) ~~~~~~~~ And of course, I'm up in the pool area, also lending moral support... By leaning over the fence, to take this pic.

Son/family next door, had a whole weekend of yard work. Cleaning up and "neating-up" and planting too.

We don't have any fruit trees ourselves, any more. But as you can see, we can view some, from our plot. Blossoms on fruit trees really say SPRING, it seems. -happy sigh- They don't last long, but make a lovely show, while they do.

A Dear Reader mentioned that my pictures are loading slowly. Yes, I re-size my pics, making them smaller-then-they-come-out-of-my-camera. And I post them, choosing 'Original Size"... the re sized size.I signed out of my blog, and checked its load time, on STOPWATCH. My blog load time was 01.9. Another blog's load time was .616 and another's was 4.855. So mine is less then one and more than another....
If you Dear Reader, are experiencing slow loading pics, here.... Please tell me. Please and thank you.

Nope, they loaded right up. Your corner looks much like mine. I think we've had eleven straight days of sunshine and we deserved it after that long, long winter and yucky first month of spring.
Here's to lazy days floating in a pool looking at the clouds and enjoying something cool and refreshing to drink.
Yes, we had company and the company has now returned home. Since the company was mostly John's, this meant that I had even more time on my hands to myself as they were off doing this or that together.
Yes, it does seem a bit slower loading. Mine also seems a bit slower too, so maybe it is my computer.
Your neighborhood is looking pretty with the flowering trees. Many of the flowering trees here are almost finished blooming. Soon it will be blazing hot and I'll be wishing I had a nice pool to cool off in like yours!
Thank you for your kind words. We are still missing our kitty. We hoped our little weekend getaway would help, but the weather was so dreary that we came home in a still-dreary mood. It didn't help that we saw so many poor little creatures lying alongside the highways on this trip.
It seems to be loading quicker than it used to ... though to be honest I usually open up several different blogs in several different tabs all at once, and don't always know how long each one takes.
Amazing header photo! Like fireworks. :)
We are looking forward to blossoming trees here. Maybe in a week or so. Enjoy that lovely weather!
it loads quickly on mine, each computer is different, and also sometime computer problems make things load slowly, nothing wrong with your blog, it must be there computer. or their internet connection. i have cable, if they have dial up slow is what dial up does. i love your views with all those trees and especially the view where your daughter is doing what I would do to help OR what you are doing. the view looking past your pump is just gorgeous
In response to your blogging friends' comments;
No. I have high speed Internet (DSL)...and even when I use my iPhone to access this blog, the images roll in slowly.
I don't mind waiting. The images are worth the wait, and I was only inquiring in case some dear readers MIGHT have dial up or perhaps a slower connection than I do.
Didn't mean to stir up trouble
Just trying to help....
so very spring like there! your photos load slower for me than any other blog. i don't mind though!
My computers, both at home and at work, are slow already. Love your pictures though. Really make me miss my garden. I remember the joy I felt when they veggies began to sprout.
As for my job, I've decided to wait to tell them. No need to be so hasty.
Mary
I'm not sure - they seems to load fine for me.
I'm never in a hurry so even if they did I wouldn't mind.
Enjoy your spring weather!

Lots got done under your sun and loads fine for me, depends on the browser too.
Auntie..Isn't it odd that we get our lawn ready for winter and by the time spring comes around they look all messy again. Plenty of yard work, getting ready for spring and summer. I like the planting beds. xoxo,Susie
I'm thinking it must be their computer...nice spring time fun...
Pictures coming in a little slower than usual, but not a big deal.
The spring trees are all so pretty. Your right though, they don't last very long.
i love your water header. great springy views. so purdy!! ( :
I rarely get any pictures to load from your blog. Not complaining, just a fact!!
I've never noticed your pictures loading more slowly than any other blog. It could have something to do with the brower that the reader is using.
