Tiki Torches...!!! ,-) Etc. Etc. Etc.

ATTENTION CLASS:

My Click-able Links will now be in

THIS COLOR...

Please and Thank You.

(Sun., still working on Work Bench...)

Today/Tues. is my day, to go to the Allergist.  The doctor's pamphlet says, that on the first visit, there will be Pulmonary Testing and Skin Testing.

(Middle Grand-Son and Dad...)

This (allergy testing) is totally new to me.  I did not grow up with allergies.  Developed them, as I am getting older.

(As far as they got, on Sun.  It's in Son's garage, but pegboard still to be gotten, when it's not raining...)

Finally have to admit to myself, that I have Allergies.  -pout-  Do any Dear Readers, have experience with being tested for Allergies??????

Son next door, put Tiki Torches up, on Sat.  But forgot lighter fluid.  Which we went out and got, Sun. morning.  Then came the Sun. rains.....

But after 7pm, it was still cloudy but no rain...  So they lit them.  And we came over to experience the First Tiki Torch Lighting Experience.  -grin-

Guess my Son was still chewing on something, when he came out...  -grin-

You can see 2 of their lovely gardens.  One more, is to the right, out of the line of this picture.

Oh and, "Uncle A." didn't get bit, last evening, but I did.  While out there, in the humid evening.  A nasty bite, on a finger.  It hurt and was itchy and I had to keep putting Anti-Itch-Bite Cream on it.  -pout-  Why me?????   Why do all flying, biting insects zero in on ME????

And this is just a bird-in-flight, to the left...  And sunlight on a plane, way up in the sky.

put listerine on before you go outside. mosquitoes hate it. put ora-gel on the bite to stop it from itching!

I had a bad experience visiting an allergist years ago. Not sure the assistants who did the patch tests knew what they were doing.

Hopefully your outcome will be better than mine was. And I never had allergies or reactions when I was younger. I guess it sometimes comes with age.

Yeah allergies surely come with age, prob all the crap we are exposed to builds up and our bodies can't take it any more.

Like you, I never had allergies either. I had the allergy test a few years back. With little needles they painlessly inject different allergens into your system. Then you wait. Didn't hurt at all.

Because you're so sweet, of course! I like the tiki lights...probably lots better than the solar lights I've been wanting. I see your son's garden is looking pretty good...the broccoli is much further along than ours.

i battle those nasty biting beasts every time i go in the garage to put laundry in the washer or dryer. i wonder if they have tiki torches that burn something that kills skeeters.

I haven't developed any allergies yet.

Up at HT I got LOTS of bites. Not sure what bit me. I think it may have been chiggers.
Very itching. I have some poison ivy stuff that takes away the itching!!

I put a cream version of OFF on and it seems to be keeping them away now.

Looks like the workbench is about finished! Good job.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've read that Bounce fabric sheets are good for keep the skeeters away. They say to put one in your pocket.

And I just read on a blog today that a banana peel is good for reducing the inflammation and itch from insect bites.

I'm allergic to dust, mold, pollen and one other thing I can't remember at the moment. (Senior moment, you know. Haha)

Morning Auntie

You get bit because you're the sweetest:P

What a neat and tidy garden and yard and how wonderful that they are right next door - perfect for loving on your grands.

Back to reality today and back to work. Our Texans left yesterday and the newlyweds are in Mexico on their honeymoon.

Auntie, Things bite you cause you are the sweet one probably. I love your son's raised garden beds. That is a nice yard. What I have heard about allergy testing is the pin pricks in the skin with up to a hundred or more sticks ...the ones that show irritation is what you may be allergic too. I wish you luck with your testing and hope you can get things in control.
