My Kitchen Window decoration View is not as pretty as Vee's is! For sure. But with her photos of hers, she set me off on doing something to mine. :-) Here it is, in late afternoon.
Oh and the "Decorating The Tree Saga" is
Then Sat. afternoon, our 13 year old Granddaughter (from next door), and a couple of her friends stopped by. And I *pressed them into service*. :-) They had fun doing it of course, but we ran out of those little ball hangers! Eeeek!
And here is the Kitchen window sill, with the candles lit, and taken early in the morning. Before sun-up.
It has been an awful job, for me to get a lot of these pics posted... Cropped and fixed up as I wanted them. A long story, and I won't bore you with it, but ..... Grrrrrr... It's one of those things, which I am not *techy* enough, to figure out. So I just have to keep bumbling along, in hopes that finally, they will post (mostly) as I want them to. -pout-
Three of the Santa Claus' which "Uncle A." has hand carved, over the years. I love them, together in the center of the mantle, each year. ~-~-~-~ And since taking this pic, I have changed those "tooooo-bright" Faerie Lights!!! Eeeek!
Looks like the squirrel is doing a good job, on the Patio Pumpkin...
Trouble is, then I don't want him to cook anything on it!!!!!!!!! ,-)
Just a pretty view of sky, out one of the Den windows. Noticed it. Appreciated it. Took a picture of it. :-)

You don't need to link to me for such delightful things, my friend. I love your windowsill...one can't go wrong with candy and candles! I'm glad that you discovered that you could brighten it up. Ohhh my goodness, I am in love with those carved Santas and can't believe that Uncle did them. He is a very talented guy. And, Auntie, if he is willing to clean the stove so beautifully, allow him to cook up a storm. Hooray for teen granddaughters and their friends! What fun!
Happy Holiday morning to you, Auntie! My, but Uncle A is mighty handy with a pocket knife! I didn't know he did that sort of thing! Love his little Santas...
I like those little jar lids with the red/white on them - and they do brighten up your kitchen window. It's nice that we spark each other on with ideas that we can tweak for our own home. I know I've been eyeing Vee's house for some ideas myself (as well as others)!
Stay cozy ~~~
Hi Auntie!
Your early morning window is just lovely! One of the joys of blogging, is that we can share and borrow ideas from each other, making each one our own creation!
Uncle A is certainly talented! What wonderful heirlooms to pass on to your children and grandchildren one day . . . far into the future!! They are just beautiful!
I also love a sparkling clean stove-top - just one of life's little pleasures!
I'll bet your little squirrel is loving that pumpkin! Hopefully, tucking some away for pie!
Hugs,
Barb
G'morning, Auntie...I love your windowsill...it looks so pretty and festive.
You know, there's not much prettier in the world than a sparkling clean stove. Excuse me now, I have to go clean MINE. :))) I love how we all inspire each other..
I am baking Gingerbread men today....:)
What a TEASURE your carved Santas are!!!
I love your window scape! The mint nougats in the jar on the right are my ABSOLUTE favorite Christmas candy!! I always buy a bag - or 2 - or 3!!!
Love your post......going to get a mint candy now~
Your decorations are fantastic. Love the window view. It's great to have a window over your sink. I had to chuckle over the squirrel and that pumpkin. I'm going to miss my little buddies when I move.
