UPDATE:
If a lady is going to smoke a cigar, she has to visit a shop, like pictured below. And get help. And be willing to spend a bit of money, too. NO cheap cigars, for a lady. -grin- Cheap cigars make one sick. As Dear Readers have said, in comments. ,-)

Taking a walk the other day, I was taking pics of buildings. And spied this little vignette, across Broadway...
Love this shot... The old corner store is simply beautiful, as it's been kept as-is for years and years.
At present it's a shop which sells cigars.

By cropping the photo, I lost clarity. But you can better see what the gentlemen are doing. Both inside the shop, and outside. Sitting, relaxing, enjoying a cigar on a lovely warm spring afternoon on Broadway. :-) I love it!!!!

I miss my occasional cigar. I do. I do. I do.
-sigh- Haven't had one, since I developed a bit of mouth trouble.
Have you ever enjoyed smoking a cigar, Dear Reader???? :-)

i love both photos, the crop and the one with the cars. the cars seem to add a lot to it. modern mixed with nostalgia. great shot and i love it. i only ever smoked one cigar, 3 puffs and i was deathly ill, i was 12 and daddy had put one on top the fridge that a person who had a baby gave him. no one in my family smoked and i never touched another one, because it was nasty. i tried two puffs on a cigarette at age 16 and said yuck, why would anyone want to smoke.
A cousin and I smoked one when we were about 11 or 12 and threw up for DAYS. :(
Wonderful photo...you can clear it up in PhotoScape, if you want.
It would have made a great photo for a note card party. :)))
Love love your photos...both of them! It is a lovely spot to pass the day away, huh? No tobacco for me, I would have gotten my mouth wash out with soap, ugh!
What great photos. And no, I've never smoke a cigar.
But I can imagine those fellas sure are enjoying themselves on such a nice sunny day!
cool shots...never smoked..have asthma....they look like they are enjoying themselves...
Love the photo and all the old stores.
Maybe it's not so much about smoking but just enjoying the company.
No can't say that I've ever smoked a cigar and can't think that I would enjoy it.
Tried a cigarette a time or two as a kid but never could understand why people would choose to smoke. But that's just me. : )
Love the dainty new look. I liked an occasional cigar at one time, myself. Beautiful day over here. Too bad I am indoors.

What a cool vintage shop!! I have never smoked, I value my health too much and always try to make healthy life style choices!!!
I love the photos! I have never smoked a cigar. I did try a cigarette once when I was about 16 and it made me barfy so thank the dear Lord that was the end of that. lol
Never tried smoking a cigar. Never tried eating one either. :) The Goatmother had an 'Uncle Aaron' whom no one liked and who smoked cigars. Always made it a 'yuck'. Nice photo, though. Makes one feel relaxed just looking at those guys relaxing.
Nice job on the photos! And nope...Hahahaaa....never did smoke a cigar...

What a pretty picture. Wish I had time to paint a little setting like that!
Nope - no cigars for me but at a gala in Houston (back when Amber was editor in chield of Houston Brides) we had a handrolled cigar vendor. I think we were celebrating the inaugural issue of the magazine......Mike's parents came down for it as well and LD snapped a photo of his mom with a cigar in her mouth. She never lit it but it made a good pic. Too bad we were banned from using it!!
I must admit...never tried cigars!!! LOL Guess I wouldn't 'fit in' at this corner scene then, would I. But I must say...I always LOVE it when you share photos of your own. It gives your blog such a personal view. And of course you comment on the images which makes it all the more interesting and fun to read.
PS...THIS background and header are great!!!
