Look at this barometer!!!

Look at this barometer!!!  Last time I set it, it was where that gold pointer is, between 'Change' and 'Fair.'  On Friday, it is way, way, way, way, way down, where the black pointer is....  How much more LOW, can it GO?  Wow!!!!!

This barometer was a Christmas gift to me, from "Uncle A." a year or so ago.  It has turned out to be one of the best gifts!  I check it and set it and have so much fun with it.  :-)

Noticed this pretty picture, through one of the den windows, the other afternoon.  The Old Oak Tree was centered in pretty cloud/sky patterns.  One of those "Because I Can" pics, for sure.  :-)

And this is the view out one of the den windows, on Friday.  Rain!  Rain!  Rain!  What weather for Yule...  -pout-

Good thing I still have a picture I took, when the "above-shown-Christmas-time-plants" came...  I can't manage the spelling.  lol...  Our "Granddaughter" who is a Freshman in HS, was selling them.

Haven't had one in years.  Used to think they are poisonous.  But that's one of the myths, which has been set straight.  Click--->  They aren't.  And not all snow flakes are unique.  According to a recent article...  To which I can't find a link, right now...  So you just keep believing they all are unique, if you want to do so.  :-)

It's a good (blogging) thing, that Christmas is not far off.  I am really running out of things to take pics of.    :-)

I'm taking pics of silly things...   Like this wee little Santa ornament, shot with flash on.

"Oh!  holly branch and mistletoe,
And Christmas chimes were'er we go,
And stockings pinned up in a row"!
These are they gifts, December!"
~Harriet F. Blodgett

I may have used this quote before, but it's very pretty.  Can be used again.  :-)
"Auntie" sezzzzzz...

love that last shot of the ornaments and really really love the window framing that beautiful tree...

It's all so pretty, Auntie. The poinsettias are gorgeous and as for uniqueness...they are all unique because, unless each measurement is taken and it is absolutely the same (which isn't even true of identical twins), then they are unique. That's my take on it.

You may call them silly photos but I enjoy each and every one of them. : )

There isn't a single photo that I don't enjoy. (That's a lot of negatives...so, simply said: I love every photo!)
I especially love the one taken through your den window of the oak tree. The boughs are beautiful...as is the sky.)
In the next photo, is that a swimming pool that is covered (with a cover and with leaves.) :))
Love your photos. Keep them coming!
