♥ Hey! Finally! A question, again! ,-)))) [ADDITION]

~~

Late summer garden...

Basically a well taken care of little square house.  But!  I don't like the looks of the addition they tacked on, to the left in the picture.  What I can see of the window in the addition, does not look like it *goes* with the look of the original house.

More of the late summer garden...  Which has its own beauty, still.........

One of those BIG old houses, which I can't imagine the cost of heating them.  But...  Don't you just LOVE that wrap-around porch?  Oh my!  Especially the kind of a gazebo-looking part, on the right of the picture!  Now, if it were mine, I'd screen in that gazebo-looking part, on the right of the picture.  I *hate* flying bugs and mosquitoes!  I'd love a screened-in porch.  Yessss!!!!  Who wants to join me on *my* screened in porch?!?  -grin-

Tags in the back neck of my robe.  In winter, my flannel nighties have higher necks, and tags don't bother me.  But in summertime, my nighties have lower necks and I have been itched by tag(s) in this robe, for years.  Today...!  I...!  Took...!  Action...!  ,-)  I clipped the ding-dang tags out!!!

Perhaps this is an example of how we go on, for years and years, knowing that something in our lives, is bothering-bugging-irritating-ect.  us.  Why do we take so long, to pluck it out?  Why?  Why?  Why?

Does this remind you, of something in your life, which irritates?  Which should be plucked-cut-sliced out of your life?   If so, I wish you Courage, to DO IT...!

ADDITION:

She came out of hiding...  ,-)

And she did it with grace.

And by looking quite lovely, *to boot.*

Good for you, Kristen.

I have one of those tags on my comforter, you know the one... do not remove under penalty of law. Will the cops come and take me away if I cut it off? Its been there for years, the writing is starting to fade. Perhaps if I cut it out, no one will notice and I'll be safe. Where's my scissors!

I love the garden, and these old houses are reminding me so much of home.

i have cut tags our for years, but once i cut the tags out and then could not remember if it was hand wash, machine wash, etc.. and another time i wanted to get another gown of the same material because of the comfort, had no idea because the tag was gone. and yes i will come sit on that porch with/without screens, but screens mean no bugs and i don't like bugs. my lightweight blanket on the bed has a tag on the corner, i have to leave it on, because the sides and top are the same and to fit the king sized bed the tag goes at the top right corner.

I Always cut the tags off of most everything I buy...Hahaaaa...and to Muffy Marks, tags can Only be removed by the Consumer...thats us.
So you're safe...cut to your hearts content!

the tags are right out of that book....zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance. i loved that old book. it is such a shame when people put on additions and don't follow the original design. they cheap out and then they ruin the house. i love that big house! it is a nightmare to heat these old houses. i keep my heat on 52 all winter long. my kids freeze when they are here!

Thanks for photos of the homes, again. That addition window certainly doesn't match, and screens would be great on the porch. I like the shirts where the 'label' is printed onto the material or where they put it on the side seam. Even though I know the 'do not remove' tags aren't meant for the consumer -- I get great pleasure in ripping them off!!
Peace,
Muff

Your garden is beautiful and colorful.

You're right about the window on the addition of the first house. What architect/builder did that?

I have a screened-in porch and it is my favorite place in the house during spring and summer.

I like Kristen's dress.

I'm always better off if I have my health, family, friends, a roof over my head, food to eat, etc. Afterall, I'm four years older!

That was me. I was interrupted and forgot that I was here. I am wearing a sheepish look.

Now can a girl cheat on a boyfriend? Were they seriously dating as unto an engagement?

I agree with all comments about tags. They scratch, but have valuable information. It's a conundrum. And I don't like the new "no tag" thing that's going on with the rubberized or stamped stuff either. Perhaps there's just no pleasing me.

I do not like the addition on the square house for the same reason as you. As for tags...seems like they could put them someplace else on the clothing and make them removable. Glad you took action. LOL..I should do that to my husbands shirts..he complains all the time about them. Love that dress on Kirsten...wow.

I've never liked it when they add an addition to a building that looks completely out of place. There's a beautiful museum in Niagara Falls, ON, that was built in the 1880's and it's so regal with it's old brick work and architecture...well they've put an addition to it...all made of glass and modern architecture!! Talk about ruining a beautiful building!

Most often than not, as soon as I buy a piece of clothes, I cut the tag off because I can't stand them in my neck!! Good for you for finally removing the one on your robe. lol

Something in my life which irritates me and should be cut out of my life? My husband! lol

Oh yes, a screened in porch/gazebo...how I would love that as well!!! xoxo
